My own proudest moment would be when my story got first got featured in a journal.

Writing, for me, has always being a way to air my thoughts but it gets boring when no one seems to be interested in thoughts. Well, that was what I thought.

Sending out pitches after pitches, it was as if they all didn't bother to read 'em before sending a rejection letter.

These rejection letters came in various tones. Some were sympathetic, apologizing for having to pass such a beautiful piece. Some just said they have no place for it. While some never reply.

When I finally got that acceptance letter, I was so elated and proud of my writing skill for the first time since I started submitting pitches to Journals and magazines.

Although I have gone on to get published in more journals and even become part of the editorial board of a journal, I still can't forget how that first acceptance made me feel.
