BLOGGING CHALLENGE #1 - Día # 14 Thoughts on education (English-Spanish)

The same applies to study, if we ourselves do not know how to educate ourselves, how can we expect to educate others?
We are taught to pass the grade, to pass exams and not to seek learning. We can always go beyond what we are taught.
We can take courses or be self-taught, always looking for ways to improve.

During my career I had excellent teachers and there were also mediocre teachers, I had teachers who explained very well, well-trained people and good readers. Unfortunately I also had teachers who were limited to talking about politics in class.
But that the teacher does not fulfill his function correctly does not mean that I do not fulfill mine of being a good student.

The teacher may be very good, but if the student doesn't want to learn, the teacher cannot do anything.

There are good students who learn very well at college, but many times they limit themselves to the information that the teachers give them, they do not complement by reading from other authors or carrying out other types of research.

We must be self-taught, investigate, we must be curious, lovers of knowledge. Go beyond the information that comes to us.
As Jim Rohn said, "Let's be students, not followers."

How many times do we just believe what we read or what someone tells us. So many people fall for fake news. Because they do not go further, but that is another matter.

I believe that we should always try to learn new things and everything we do we must strive to do it in the best way.

A menudo he observado como maestras critican a los padres de los estudiantes por las debilidades del estudiante. Los padres a su vez critican a los maestros por la mala educación del niño, ese maestro no enseña nada. Los estudiantes culpan al maestro por no explicar bien y a los padres por ser exigentes. Todos se lanzan una pelota. La pelota de la responsabilidad.

Hay buenos estudiantes que aprenden muy bien lo que se les enseña, pero muchas veces se limitan a la información que le dan los profesores, no complementan leyendo de otros autores o realizando otro tipo de investigación.

Debemos ser autodidactas, investigar, debemos ser curiosos, amantes de conocimiento. Ir más allá de la información que nos llega.
Como decía Jim Rohn, “Seamos estudiantes, no seguidores”
Cuántas veces nos limitamos a creer lo que leemos en un lugar o lo que alguien nos dice. Así muchas personas caen en las fake news. Porque no van más allá, pero eso es otro tema.

Creo que siempre debemos intentar aprender cosas nuevas y todo lo que hagamos debemos esmerarlo de hacerlo de la mejor manera.
