30 days blogging challenge day 7: Your 5 favorite songs

My 5 favorite songs.

I was already thinking about 5 songs since yesterday, but I can not figure it out. The reason is that I listen to a lot of music, and different music styles, during different times of the year. I had to switch it around this time and list the most listened to music from the last 6 months.

So without further ado, here are my 5 favorite songs (from the last 6 months):

1- Sky's the limit - The Notorious B.I.G.

I am a B.I.G. fan (which has nothing to do with my current weight 😅)
For me, he is the best rapper ever. His writing was smart, witty, and visualizable. You can listen to his albums with your eyes closed and see a movie playing before you. One of his songs could be in my top 5 for sure.

2- Ooh LA LA - Run The Jewels

Like I said these are not my 5 favorites, but I had a phase with this song where I listened to it 3-4 times a day for weeks straight, hence the second place. That being said I really enjoy the RTJ4 album and like Killer Mike.

3- The Night King - Ramin Djawadi

I really like this track, not sure if it would make my top 5, but top 25 for sure. Yes, I am aware that this technical this is not a song, but it is one of my most listened to tracks 😆. I like how the piano starts and during the track slowly gets taken over by the other instruments. Not only does it fit the Game of Thrones episode perfectly, but it also brings me in a focused mood during work.

4- Coolie High - Camp Lo

My favorite rap-duo is Outkast (which had numbers 7 and 9) on my most played list. But Camp Lo could be number 2. Last November I was in my old school vibe and left this track on my working list. The Janet Jackson sample fits perfectly with this song and keeps me in a relaxed state.

5 - Blinding Lights - The Weeknd

Another great song, the lyrics have a very deep meaning and the upbeat sound is used to distract us from it, just like the chorus and song title says.
