Date with a view: Matana Café, Busay Cebu Philippines

Hello Everyone here in the Hive Community! I’m here again to share my new found café and restaurant only here in Busay, Cebu Philippines. I think its my first time to share how much I love coffee, thumbs up to those who can relate with me! (hahaha😁) I think I need to tell this in advance, that you will be seeing lots of post from me with a coffee, (hahaha😁) I will be sharing to you guys different café and restaurants that I’ve visited.

This small trip was again unexpected, I think you can all notice that most of my small trips was unplanned and unexpected (guess its way more better based on my experience hahaha). So let me tell you a little story of why we came there, (it’s a bit of a comedy though hahaha). Me and my partner had a little misunderstanding few days ago before we went there. Its not that serious though, you know just a typical misunderstanding between two people, and since we’ve been together for how many years already so its not that big deal for us to argue, but my partner is a kind of person where he don’t want to end our day even with a little misunderstanding. He always makes sure that we’re okay everyday. So he invited me to go with him that time, he just said that we will going to eat somewhere, but I didn’t expect that we will be going to Busay which is approximately 30-40 minutes away from the city. I just go with the flow because I know him, what he say is what he do.

During our ride, we didn’t talk that much, because he’s letting me feel the wind and just relax. Among all the places that we’ve visited, Busay is my favorite place, it feels like I do not need to think of anything when I’m there. He really knew where he should bring me everytime I’m not okay. He’s been doing this few times already so its not new to me anymore hahaha but still appreciated his effort.

So here’s the twist, its also his first time visiting this place, he said that his plan is to treat me to “Chixboy” its also a restaurant who offers variety of foods (we’ll be visiting chixboy soon, and I will share to all of you guys). But sadly its still close that time, because we arrived there 7 or 8 in the morning, we didn’t think of the time and we started laughing and we realized that we’re too early for a feast hahaha.

And we saw this café, Matana Café and restaurant. At first we don’t like it that much, but later we realized that we already judge the book by its cover without even trying it. So someone entertained us and gave us the menu, its not that pricy though, (but for us it is, because we are not fond of eating in a fancy restaurant hahaha) The place is spacious and has a lot of place to sit and take a picture. What I really love the most is the view, you can literally see the building in the City! The wind is cold and the place will just really give you a peaceful stay.

We really love their plating, the way they served the food, we just ordered a breakfast set since its still early in the morning and their lunch menu is still not available. Honestly we got amazed by their food, its worth the price, we didn’t have any regret after finishing the food. I must say you really should come and try their food. We order another food but sadly I wasn’t able to take a snap of it since we got so hungry and excited, I just remember about taking a picture after we finished it (we started laughing again hahaha)

We enjoyed the food and the view which I absolutely love. I feel so relieved and happy.
