Colorful Water Fountain Show/ Picnic Date with Family at IL Corso, Cebu

To all the people here in the Hive community, its me again, zel. How’s everyone? Hope your march is as fine as the weather, though its starting to feel so hot since summer is already approaching. I’m happy again to share to all of you our family day last weekend. From the start of the year 2023, we rarely go on dates with my family, because we got so busy working and studying and doing our personal and important stuffs. I have my older sister who is working and her son and daughter who’s also studying, while my brother still waits for his time to attend his baking classes. I’m the only one they always ask if when is the time or day that I’m available so that they can set a date for us to go and bond outside.

Ever since I got into college, I’ve been busy working and studying at the same. I often give myself even a little time to relax. Our rule in our family that Sunday is always a family day. Last weekend, my sister decided that we should hang out because we’ve been busy this past few weeks. She said that we all need to give ourselves some relaxation together.

Our family hang out was not planned, my sister decided an hour before we went to Il Corso. As you may notice that we’ve been visiting Il corso many times already, its our favorite spot to relax. IL Corso is also like a family park, it’s a huge place for family get together, for couples who wants to date and relax, for friends who just wants to enjoy their life and also for those adults like lola’s and lolo’s who wants to feel some air and have some relaxation.

We left our house at exactly 6:30 in the evening, my sister drove so fast hahaha. She said that there’s a fountain show at night and we can’t miss it. The time we arrived, we ran so fast to witnessed the fountain show, my niece and my nephew keeps on saying that they already feel the hunger but we can’t miss the show so we rush and forget that we’re hungry hahaha 😁

They make announcements 5 minutes before the fountain show. We’re so glad that they announced that the show will start at 6:30 in the evening, they will repeat the show at 7:00 and 7:30 in the evening for those other people who missed the first show.

It was so amazing, to tell you honestly I was not able to say a word during the show, my eyes were so focused and no one can disturbed me hahaha😄. The songs that were played really fits the show, it was so classical that truly gives the vibes of relaxation. The last song hyped all the kids, the finale song was “The circle of life”, the theme song in the movie “The Lion king”. They all shouted and they were so amazed.

After the show, we go back to the car and prepare the table and food, we had a car park picnic and it was so nice. We just cooked some food in our house and brought it, because its so hard to order a food set in IL Corso especially when its Sunday. My sister bought some drinks for the two of us, we just bought some snacks and enjoyed the rest of the night.

If you want to have some relaxation without leaving the City, IL Corso is one of the best choice. They are always open everyday. You can park your own vehicle, they do have lots of parking space. If you will go there using a public transportation, you can ride the SM shuttle bus.
