Hi Everyone here in the Hive Community! Hope you’re all doing fine and great! I’ve been touring you to different kind of places and resorts here in Cebu, but its just a few guys, Cebu is just a small place but it holds so much beautiful places that you can visit.
For today, I will be sharing our little trip to Argao, our newly found Coal Mountain Resort. The first time I heard it, I can’t believe its name I was like “What’s with the coal? Like is it really a literal coal that we used for traditional cooking?”. It was my sister’s idea to go there. We went to Argao to visit my sister In laws, we also visit to have our vacation as well. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. We’re new in Argao so we don’t have any idea what we should do and visit.
We’re lucky that the resort was just nearby the place we’re staying in. We got there just a few minutes from our place. They do have an entrance fee, 100 pesos per head for adult and 50 pesos for kids. Their resort was quite spacious, you can do different activities aside from swimming. They have 3 pools, 2 for adults and 1 heart-shaped pool for kids. What I really like about their place is the view. Honestly I wasn’t able to swim that much because the water was so cold and I feel like I’m freezing hahaha. I’m the person who easily get cold and also easily get hot, am I the only one like this? Hahaha 😄
Inside the resort, they do have an area that looks like a zoo, they have different kinds of animals like monkey, a peacock, different kinds of birds and snakes and even crocodiles. The kids would really enjoy seeing different kinds of animals inside a resort. You can also enjoy walking and sight seeing, at the back of the rooms, they have a long bridge that connects two mountains. Its quite wavy and scary for those who doesn’t like heights because its really high. As we are walking and exploring, we discover a huge falls that has a huge pool, the water is green, the tour guide said that the water is all natural, they don’t any chemical. The water from the falls go directly to the pool. The kids are not allowed to swim in there because its 7ft deep. For safety purposes they only allow people who are professional in swimming. I was not able to take a picture of it, since we just passed by and didn’t go inside.
What’s more interesting in their resort is the cave. Yes they do have a cave inside their resort. They do have an underground cave, but not applicable for many people. They divided the visitors who can come inside, they said that its for safety purposes. We only used their cottages, we didn’t booked a room, but their cottages is enough to fit a even a big family.
In our visit to Coal Mountain resort, we felt the peacefulness, the visitors really respect the quietness of the place, they really do respect the nature. The cold breeze touching your skin will let you feel the relaxation that you need. It will only take you approximately 4 hours to travel from Cebu City to Argao, so the next things that you need to do is to plan and pack your things, enjoy the travel and feel the relaxation.
Hope you enjoyed our little trip to Coal Mountain Resort, Argao
Always take care and just smile
