Wayanad is the least populated district in state of Kerala with natural beauty. Complete with misty mountains, splendid forests, pristine rivers, and cascading waterfalls, Wayanad is also known as Undiscovered Heaven on Earth.
It is surrounded by lush green hills and is known as hill District of Kerala. It is known for it soothing temperature all around the year.
We travelled to north Kerala where the highest peak is situated 2000 feet above the sea level to see the amazing view.
Wayanad is known for it's greenery and long coconut trees with long roots. It receives 300mm of rainfall during the monsoon season .People of Wayanad live in absolute harmony with each other. Here most of the people practice farming and other agriculture related activities.
While exploring Wayanad we saw acres of tea and coffee plantations and the aroma of coffee and tea is unforgettable. Tea alone in India holds 10% of exports of the net exports and India stands as the 5th largest coffee exporter in the world. I clicked few pictures of the tea gardens.
Seeing the clear sky and the natural beauty of Wayanad with the aroma of tea gardens and coffee plantation makes this small rural district an undiscovered Heaven on Earth.
