Somewhere at Sardinia's Sunset coast, you can find a picturesque small Village, located on top of a hill, right next to the sea and desert like Sanddunes. This place is called Torre Dei Corsari
Torre Dei Corsari, Sardinia
I found a cool spot on park4night just out of Torre Dei Corsari, A small village by the beach with stunning Sanddunes just next door. I turned the music on, and had a chilled drive to my new ''home'' for a couple of nights. Before I arrived at the place I put on the map, I saw a beautiful ocean view and parked my car. I knew I had found my spot I could call home for a night or two!
Smile!! This window is pretty much the closest thing I own to a proper mirror. Although I usually use my side mirrors to cut my hair and do makeup, once in a blue moon I do wear makeup. I love this kinda simple life which teaches me to be happy with the ''ordinary'' things in life
The beach was just a 5 minute walk down the hill. The walk came with stunning views on the way, over the Torre di Flumentorgiu, over the beach and over the gorgeous coastline. It surely was a pleasant walk down.
There was a little paid parking lot with some more big, fancy campers but the view out there wasn't as nice as my spot right up the hill, and mine was free :)
One of the views during the little walk towards the beach
The view from my window! Another advantage of this place on top of the hill was the little breeze. A breeze is the best thing on such a hot summer day!
The road to the ocean. It feels really cool to know that the ocean is pretty much my backyard whenever I want it to be
In this picture you can see how clear the water is. The visibility underwater is really cool for snorkeling
The Torre di Flumentorgiu at the hilltop
The village, Torre Dei Corsari, is a very small place but cute like only Sardinian places can be. build on top of the hill in a layered way so pretty much every house will have a beach view. It is probably not the reason that they build it like that, but it is a nice advantage.
It is beautiful to see this cute, beautiful village built on the top of the hill. This village is really like in the movies: Too good to exist in the real world but here it is!
It felt so nice to chill on the beach and realise that life has been so good to me, while my mind wanders away about life, to follow it up by some snorkelling and getting back to the moment and enjoying the refreshing water on a hot sweaty day. There wasn't much to see here while snorkelling, just some very funny fish who were following me. I don't know what type of fish they are but I have seen them a lot here around the islands.
Since I stayed here for a couple of nights, of which some were working days as I work remotely from ‘’home’’. Often I work in the daytime and explore in the evenings and weekends. I went the other day to the sand dunes after work when the sun was lowering down, which gives the dunes incredibly nice shades. My favourite time of the day besides sunset is the golden hour, when the sunlight turns gentle and hills and mountains gain the most stunning shades. I always feel like taking some photographs.
Sunset time! I love sunset time, especially when it looks like this! And that is the ending of the day but the ending of today's blog as well :)
Thank you for reading my blog!
Regards from Sardinia!
Too good to exist in the real world but here it is! That's exactly how I was feeling when I visited this place many years ago 😊
Amazing photos! I really love the second one from the bottom. You look SO HAPPY 😊
Yeah exactly right! Traveling brings so many surprises!
Beautiful! Wouldn’t mind some sun myself! Weather in NL is far less like yours over there 😅 I was wondering how you handle internet while working remotely. I work remotely myself but need to be connected for sending data back and forth. Do you have some sort of magic sim card hack I should know about in case I would want to travel? :)
Yess, well, not magic but I learned a thing or two on the road.

This website can tell you which provider has the best coverage. I have Iliad now, not the best here but good enough.
I believe I have around 170! GB for only 10! Euros a month. France was also very cheap. Netherlands is supposed to be one of the worst countries for data Sim cards
Pretty much all people buy a local Sim in the country where they go. There are also some package for all Europe. If you would prefer that, I can look it up.
I also have a Dutch Sim with 20GB as plan B (I pay monthly so they don't give a fuck about fair use policy.
My router
I have a Mifi router (Netgear nighthawk) as router for my Sim, with an antenna. It is not perfect (Mainly because it overheats while charging in hot summer days) but it helped me a lot. I need stable connection for calls ad it does what it should.
Be aware of the fair use policy!
If you wanna stay longer than 4 months, make sure you look up on google what the fair use policy means.
I might get Starlink in the future though, if it suits my travels and it gets a bit cheaper.
Edit: even if you go shorter than 4 months, you can usually not use all your GBs outside of the SIMcards country. It is always wise to look up the fair use policy if you wanna use the simcard outside of the country. I had a Simyo before and that one doesn't work as a hotspot outside of Holland, which means it is useless in a Mifi router
Super useful info! Which specific model of MIFI router do you have? They vary so much in price. Is it 5G compatible? I really wish fair use policies were non-existence. I would buy a good sim card and router and never have a fixed connection anymore :D
I have the M2 without 5g as far as I know. I don't need very fast internet, 4g is usually just fine.
I believe that the business Vodafone doesn't have a fair use policy, but they need a "KVK nummer" before you can get one.
Thanks! My brother owns a business, maybe I fan do something there 😎
