It was my fourth day in Quito and I already felt acclimatised to its 2,850 metres. Fortunately, the only symptom I had from the altitude was some insomnia during the first two nights, so I decided it was time to go on an excursion that I had marked on my travel itinerary: climbing the Rucu Pichincha volcano.
To do this route, you had to go to the cable car, and when you go up, there is a path to reach the top. I had mentioned my plan to Vero, the Argentine girl I met at the hostel where I was staying and with whom I went on several walks, and she liked the idea. Her boyfriend, who had arrived the night before, also joined the adventure.

Another new adventure is coming up in the mountains. Today, as usual, we're visiting "Arrabida" to exercise and create content in one of the most visited landscapes in Setúbal. Today we're doing an "unofficial" trail to admire and try to explain a little about the type of Mediterranean ecosystem. I've visited this area so many times that it never ceases to amaze me, and I almost always discover something new.🚩🧭

🥉 As a tourist in my own city by @duskobgd

Thanks to the upcoming winter to the northern hemisphere and the shortened day, some #wednesdaywalk have to be done at dusk, already at 4 pm 😀
I arranged for a walk around the center of the city where I have lived for almost half a century, but in which I rarely photograph the streets and buildings. When they asked me: "Are you going to photograph the streets and buildings in Belgrade, which you have seen a thousand times", I answered: "Why not. I will share the pictures with those who may have never seen this city".
