🥈 Oviedo: European Capital of Gastronomy 2024 and much more by @castri-ja

Oviedo is the capital of Asturias, situated in the north of Spain. It is not a very big city, but as with most Spanish cities its history goes back many centuries and as part of this history in the city you will find some real gems of art in the form of churches dating back to the early Middle Ages in what are called pre-Romanesque Asturian monuments.

🥉 The Most Underrated Tourist Attraction In The Northern Beijing by @tanzil2024

The region I am talking about is a collection of numerous scenic areas with hundreds of mountains and rivers surrounding the Miyun Water Reservoir, a lake-like water body in the northern region of Beijing. If, say, the exact location is correct, then Miyun City is the north-eastern side of the Beijing Municipal and the last district in this direction. It is a neighbour district of the Huairou district, where I am currently living. The distance of the Miyun district is around 70 Km from Beijing downtown. The scenic areas are at a distance of around 10-15 km from the Miyun district's urban area.
