🥇 Jakobsweg - From Brienz to Oberried (CH) / Day 27 by @softa

In the middle of the town there is a huge open area where paragliders land all day long. Which is probably one of the main tourist attractions in the city, as there were hundreds of parachutes in the air at the time of my visit. While resting on a bench, a man working for a tourist agency came up to me.

🥈 Trip to Alcántara, vital Roman road [Eng][Esp] by @oscarps

One of the most emblematic historical buildings in the lands of Extremadura is this Roman bridge located in the town of Alcántara very close to the border of the province of Cáceres with Portugal. In this southwestern area of the country, the importance of the Roman roads to cross the Tagus River was crucial in the development of transport and the connection of the entire region. I left the city of Cáceres to head along the national highway N-630 and then take the regional CC-113 that would take me to the target town of my trip, Alcántara. Upon arriving at the town, one of the first views I have is a beautiful viewpoint and from there I can see the Tagus River basin and the Roman bridge of Alcántara, a marvel of Roman architecture built in the year 103 AD. Its rounded arches reveal that this bridge preserves the type of architecture of the time, and although with some small repairs due to the passage of centuries and circumstances, they respect the essence of its construction.

🥉 The legend of a mysterious mountain. Mt. Inderkilla (6000m), as seen from Hampta valley. by @parvkhuller

We went back to our campsite at Chikka from our little morning adventure (which you can read by clicking on the link below), and we collectively planned to go upto Jobra Campsite that day. It was a super sunny day with no signs of clouds anywhere and it was the perfect day to see the rarely seen mountain peaks all around us. As most of the time of the year, those mountains are mostly covered with clouds, we were lucky enough to be there in this short window of time when the atmosphere is dry and sky is super clear and thus it was a perfect time to spot the most mysterious mountain of the Kullu Valley, Mt. Inderkilla.
