When I usually go to this place I feel like it is a Roman coliseum, but in reality it is a theater built entirely of stone, and it is perhaps one of the least visited places in La Llovizna Park, Puerto Ordaz - Venezuela, unless there is an event taking place in this place, but otherwise it is usually completely alone, but in reality this theater has a lot of history and importance as architectural heritage of the city, for everything that implies the fact of converging its construction style with its natural surroundings of the park, or at least I see it that way.
This theater was built in the 80s shortly after the opening of La Llovizna Park, and at that time both architects and engineers took advantage of the stones that they were collecting when they were building the Macagua dam, from which that material was used in this theater and in many of the places in the park to build bridges, stairs, benches to sit on and among other things as well as some buildings.
The La Llovizna park has several sectors or places where each one has its point of interest, as I spoke previously about the La Llovizna waterfall and the El Danto lagoon, there is also this theater that was built with the objective of providing this space for the realization of cultural events, which in the past were held many of them such as concerts by some renowned artists and musicians of the country, however currently I do not know if they have done any activity, because the country has been going through a crisis for years and rather since a few months ago they have recovered this space that was abandoned.
To get to the theater, its access is easy, it is located perhaps about 500 meters from the main entrance of the La Llovizna park, passing between some paths and through forests, because in almost every corner there is a lot of nature, the presence of many trees and vegetation in general. Therefore, this open-air theatre contrasts with the imposing nature of the place, and I would like to be able to take some photographs with a drone so that you could better appreciate the design of this theatre and all its surroundings, which are totally spectacular. However, if you are interested, you can look for some images on the internet and you will be able to appreciate what I am referring to.
Whenever I go to this park, I usually pass by this theatre. For many people, there is no interest in being in this place, but for me, there is interest. It is being able to appreciate the beauty of how we, as human beings, leave traces in nature, and in a certain way I feel as if I were in a coliseum, although I have never known one. The closest thing to a coliseum that I have known are the bullrings in this country. But this theatre obviously belongs to this modern era, but it feels as if it were in another era, in addition to the fact of feeling the energy of nature itself around it, because it is a different sensation than when one is in the city. So those who visit the park should not overlook knowing the theatre as an important point.

I love how it feels like stepping into a different time, like a Roman coliseum surrounded by nature.
