High-school Excursion to Paralia, Greece🇬🇷

The beginning of the last year of our high school education was marked by going on an excursion - a trip that is both educational and entertaining. Luckily during the trip there was a cheerful atmosphere and the good weather allowed us to see all the planned places without hindrance.

I will remember the moments I spent on the excursion together with my friends for the rest of my life. Laughter, conversations, the uniqueness of cities and the sky - different in every place, will remain written in our hearts filled with wonderful feelings.

We visited Paralia. Paralia is a tourist seaside settlement in the eastern part of the Pieria, Greece🇬🇷.

We started the journey excited at 1AM and arrived around 3,4PM because of all the breaks we had. To be honest, when we arrived we were all too tired from the trip and lack of sleep, but no one had time to rest, instead we all ran to the beach to swim and sunbathe.The hotel was 5 minutes away from the beach, so me and my friend immediately went into the sea🏝.

The water was warm, the sand was so soft under our feet and the breeze made beautiful waves where people jumped and swam. After 15 minutes of swimming me and Gloria (my friend) got out of the water and got some rest on the beach in the sun☀️.

We laid down on the deckchairs and applied SPF because we forgot earlier due to excitement. We see the waiter coming, and we're asking each other what we are going to drink."Coke, how about you" " Me too" The waiter is taking our order, can you guess what we ordered? "Two cocktails,sex on the beach, please" And so we sat on the beach for 2 hours,met other people, drank cocktails, took pictures of each other and enjoyed the day.

Later we went to the hotel to take a shower and get ready for dinner with another friend. Of course we went to try the famous Greek gyros🌮, I can tell you that we were not disappointed, it was great, after that we walked around the city, visited shops, bought souvenirs. The city of Paralia is not that big, but there are a lot of tourists, and I was honestly pleasantly surprised when I heard that everyone speaks Serbian and Romanian there. We were very glad because of that, we felt at home.There is also a church called "The Holy Church Of Saint Photine"⛪️.It's an Orthodox church in the center of the city and also at the beach which provides liturgies on different languages and is worth visiting. Later we went to a party in one of the most famous clubs in the city wirh all our friends from school and came back at 3 AM to get ready for the next day and the visit to the Meteora⛰️.
