One night camping experience at Van village - The wild beach was forgotten

Far away from the city about 30 kilometers, the village is located at Hai Van's foot and leans back in the cliff. This place with majestic nature, white sand, and a blue ocean. Van village (meaning cloud village) is a land of Lien Chieu District, Da Nang city, Viet Nam. A village was abandoned in many years until now that is famous for teenagers who want to have experience with a separate life from the city.

A little about Van village

As I know, this village is a place for people who are unfortunate to get leprosy because there wasn't a cure at the time. Everybody obligate is living this place to separate far from the city. Until there is a cure for this disease then they back to the city to integrate with society. Also from there, Van village was abandoned until now.

The beach stretches with the arc shape when observed on top of Hai Van Pass, it's known as the most beautiful pristine beach in Vietnam. It hasn't been exploited for tourism, so people who want to experience this beauty have been very difficult to approach the beach.

The journey to discover the wild beach

We were directed a road by residents which begin on above Pass go through vegetation to come to the beach. After 30 minutes to walk we came down the beach. Everything is so quiet, no one here except a small station that has a person working as a janitor and guide for guests.

We chose a site to set up a camp and prepare food. Although we prepare very carefully some tools to set up for dinner then it's can't completely full. We have a problem making a fire when it's not enough dry firewood so we must be divided to go back to the forest to find more dry firewood. Everything around us site just has rocks, sand, and abundant bushes which we don't know what has something in it. Luckily, my friends find out some dry twigs not far from us, and then we back to continue setting up for diner.

After decorating all of the things for the night party we are relaxed and talked about the landscape here. The smartphones and broadcasting devices seem disabled in this place. Because behind this place is a high mountain and the path to come here begin above on the Pass, it's completely separate from outside

After in the busy afternoon to prepare for the party night. We have time to take some photos memory together for the trip. Although we are so tired when walking a long way to come here then everything is worthly.

In point of us, the places like this, wine and fruit aren't missing for the party. Especially, we are on the beautiful beach.

Party on the beach

It seems that preparing for the party makes us forget when the sundown. The night cover on the beach makes us expect to have a wonderful night at this place.

We sit around and make grill foods which are prepared in the afternoon. It seems a bit burnt but okay it's quite delicious. Anyway, we aren't a chef in the 5-star restaurant so the food has a bit burn is of course.

This is a result of a long time preparing. We have a happy night when some people of us become drunk with the fruit wine. We sing together with some familiar songs, talking about individual experiences when they begin living far from home and memories for the first time meeting each other until the team to be established. It seems like the quiet atmosphere in this place was broken when we come here. We have fun with stories of people and have a wonderful experience together.

Sunrise on the beach

That is a great night, we fall asleep when we don't know until a friend woke us up to looking the sunrise behind the white waves.

The atmosphere in the morning here is cold, we can hear the sound of waves when we sit on the cliff, and some people of us still sleeping because of drunk the last night.

With some things from last night, we recycle it to cook breakfast with noodles that we prepared yesterday. We use some carbonated water cans for boiling water and make noodles, this is a dish bold student Vietnamese. Although this noodle is quite familiar to us then we feel like more delicious than eating at home.

Experience after the trip

The trip is a valuable experience for me when the road to this place has a lot of rocks. Besides, it's quite long and steep.

A wild village and blue ocean with majestic nature behind it. This trip make me realize that the journeys to discover youth are always the most wonderful experience when having more development of the social and the younger spend more time for work and forgot to spend the time to ourselves and then they look back the youth just have work and regrets.
After everything rests in life just is memories, so Let's spend more time to yourself, have more trips and new experiences to write it in the diary of a brilliant youth.
