I think museums all over the world should have a symbolic admission fee for both domestic or foreing tourists so that everybody can enrich their cultural knowledge. Sometimes I don't prefer to enter a museum when I am abroad because it would cost me much as I already pay visa fee which is about 120 EUR.
Oh, I agree, especially since they are normally funded by taxpayers anyway. They should be free for locals at least. I haven't been in too many museums abroad, but I enjoyed the Hermitage in St Petersburg, and visited a couple in London with a friend.
What are they like in Turkey?
