Dear friends, our incredible journey through Thailand continues! Staying at the Magical Mountain Resort in Surat Thani feels like stepping straight into Jurassic Park. The landscape is rugged and wild, surrounded by endless stretches of national park in every direction.
In my next blog, I’ll be sharing a true Thai bucket-list experience, riding in a traditional long-tail boat through the breathtaking Khao Sok National Park. But before we set off, we stumbled upon a hidden gem worth mentioning, the charming Bridge Hill Café.
One of the coolest things about Thailand is the sheer number of incredible cafés. Many are themed, hide secret attractions, offer extraordinary views and on top of all that, they consistently serve some of the most delicious food you’ll ever try. In Thailand, cafés aren’t just cafés… they’re experiences.
I opted for a delicious blended dragon fruit smoothie, fresh, vibrant, and absolutely perfect for a hot day. When I’m in Thailand, my go-to drinks are always either a dragon fruit smoothie or an iced Thai tea. It’s also definitely one of the easiest countries I’ve travelled to when it comes to finding vegan options, which makes exploring its café scene even better.
The café sits just off the main road and is easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. Perched on tall stilts, it overlooks a lovely garden filled with chickens, ducks, and even a koi pond. For photography lovers, there are suspended lounge nets perfect for relaxing and snapping a few shots. And of course, there’s the main attraction, the wonderfully random “staircase to heaven”, which makes the whole place feel even more extraordinary.
We spent some time just soaking in the spectacular view and appreciating how small you feel standing next to towering mountains. After finishing our drinks, we made our way out to board a long-tail boat. Not only did we get to ride in a traditional long-tail boat, we actually took it all the way out to 500 Rai, an incredible floating bungalow resort tucked deep within Khao Sok National Park. The staircase is just so amazing I didn't understand how it was perfectly constructed. I was also hooked by the videos which looks like stop motion😅 Dragon fruit smoothie or an iced Thai tea sounds refreshing and cool and I am glad your cafe experience was smooth because of many vegan options. Thailand is truly a dream come true(^^)

I genuinely love the storytelling side of what I do, it’s why I use photos, video gifs, and detailed descriptions to make you feel as though you’re right there with me. I know, honestly, what a unique thing to construct at a café! Their drinks are delicious, and they’re truly my absolute favourite.
Thailand, though… it’s a dream. The vegan options are incredible and so plentiful. I’ve been to 95 countries at this point, and Thailand is still my favourite.

I have never been to Thailand but I know a lot of things in this country because I love reading travel blogs. What food do you like the most in Thailand? Because some of my readings, they say mango sticky rice.😄
Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of the world, with still so much more to explore. Travelling really makes me appreciate the beauty of our planet, and I absolutely love meeting locals and learning about new cultures.
And oh my gosh, you’re spot on! My absolute favourite is mango sticky rice, it’s so good. After that, I’m obsessed with pineapple fried rice served inside the actual pineapple, pad Thai, and green curry. I love my main dishes spicy cause I’m all about those deep, bold flavours.
Yeah spicy flavored dishes really add this another level of gustatory experience. I am amazed how humbled you are while traveling the world. Meeting new people is always an act of humanity. Here, even if I am not travelling, I always initiate talk from folks here in our town because I just love having conversation with people. How much more if you are talking with people from other upbringing and culture and randomly you'll just talk about something that can ignite the growth and humanity in you. Well, life really has wonders, and people are one of it.
Yes, I absolutely love spicy food. I was born and raised in Singapore, surrounded by so many different cultures, flavours, and traditions. Growing up, I never saw race or religion, just other kids who were all Singaporean. That experience shaped me completely.
For me, humanity is simply who I am. Treat people the way you want to be treated. I love all animals and all people, and I truly believe that together we can make the world a kinder place. You never know the impact you might have on someone’s life. So kindness, always.
"So kindness always", a good line from a woman who grew up in a beautiful country and environment. Kindness is a very powerful weapon to change the life of someone. By the way, I am a Filipino. Telling me you are a Singaporean made me feel like telling also my identity. 😄❤️
