Hello again!, We continue with the trip to Punta Cana... Already on the bus the trip to Higuey lasted a little more than 2 hours if I remember correctly, it was already night and the place is quite dangerous so they recommended me not to take out the cell phone to take photos there... We made the transfer to the bus that would take us to Punta Cana, as we would arrive late at night, some friends would pick us up from the bus stop and from there to their house.
Hola de nuevo!, Continuamos con el viaje a Punta Cana... Ya en el bus el viaje a Higuey duro un poco más de 2 horas si mal no recuerdo, ya era de noche y el lugar es bastante peligroso así que me recomendaron no sacar el celular para tomar fotos allí... Hicimos el transbordo al bus que nos llevaría a Punta Cana, como llegariamos bien entrada la noche unos amigos nos recogerían la parada de bus y de allí a su casa.
The next day after a good breakfast, we had been invited to play with Babi Banda (rock band for children) to some children from a kindergarten in Punta Cana... I immediately noticed that there were many blond children and they explained to me that in Punta Cana there is a very large Russian colony so most of the people there were blond, which I noticed as the days went by. From there we went to eat a good fried fish and to walk around the city. Punta Cana is really located next to Bavaro that in combination form La Costa del Coco, very close is a coastal town called Friusa that would be like the place where the locals do their shopping, which is beyond the hotel complex that it has really been the tourist part.
Al día siguiente luego de un buen desayuno, nos habían invitado tocar con Babi Banda (banda de rock para niños) a unos niños de una kindergarten de punta cana... Enseguida noté que había muchísimos niños rubios y me explicaron que en punta cana hay una colonia Rusa muy grande así que la mayoría de la gente allí eran rubios, cosa q pude notar al pasar los días. De allí nos fuimos a comer un buen pescado frito y a caminar por la ciudad. Punta Cana realmente esta ubicada junto a Bávaro que en combinación forman La Costa del Coco, muy cerca está un pueblo costero llamado Friusa que sería como el puedo donde se los locales hacen sus compras, que se encuentra más allá del complejo hotelero que viene siendo realmente la parte turística.
The following days were on the beach and one or another night out, meals with friends and having a good time. One of the beaches we visited is called Playa Macao, it is an extension of sand and a very large beach with warm waters and fine sand, we also went to one that belongs to one of the small holes where the sand is super white and the waters are very clear, but Unfortunately for that date there was a plague with algae that was on all the shores.
Los días siguientes fueron de playa y una q otra salida nocturna, comidas entre amigos y pasarla bien. Una de las playas que visitamos se llama Playa Macao es una extensión de arena y playa muy grande con aguas cálidas y arena fina, también fuimos a una que pertenece a uno de los hoteles donde la arena es super blanca y las aguas muy claras, pero desgraciadamente para esa fecha había una plaga con las algas que estaban en todas las orillas .
Back in Santo Domingo we stayed one night in a hotel in the colonial zone and took the opportunity to walk around the area at night and take some photos before leaving the next morning to the airport for the end of our trip to the Dominican Republic. The second photo corresponds to the municipal house or the mayor's house (I didn't quite understand what it was about)
De regreso a Santo Domingo nos quedamos una noche en un hotel en la zona colonial y aprovechamos de dar una vuelta por la zona en la noche y tomar algunas fotos antes de irnos la siguiente mañana al aeropuerto para el fin de nuestro viaje a República Dominicana. La segunda foto corresponde a la casa municipal o la casa del alcalde (no entendí bien de qué se trataba)
