After a quick stroll through downtown Santiago de Chile, it was time for a change of scenery and a trip to the beach! Those who know me know that I love exploring new cities, but what really gets me excited is discovering new beaches.

So, if you also enjoy that sea breeze and spending a day at the beach, buckle up!

We left the hustle and bustle of downtown Chile and "let's go to the beach!!"

After a quick drive through the streets of Valparaíso, which turned out to be a city full of charm, we finally saw the beach.

It was great to see the sea, and this time, the Pacific Ocean, since in Brazil we always see the Atlantic.

Our first mission: find a place to park and find a good spot.

The coolest thing was arriving at the beach, looking around and seeing tsunami warning signs! What if it really happens? Where do we run?

Since I like taking pictures of different signs, I took these two to include in my collection.

Finally, we found a really cool spot at Playa del deporte, close to some sports equipment, a small amphitheater and the bike path and place to run along the shore.

Let's explore a bit of the shore, take that morning walk, while the "Gaviotas" fish. And the sun shining up there makes it seem like it's hot, but it was a cold day. But it was actually quite pleasant, not too cold.

There's nothing better than doing sports in front of the sea, right?

In general, I found the beach to be very beautiful, with great facilities for parking, walking and doing sports. 10 out of 10!

But then, after walking so much, I got hungry. ¿Buscamos un lugar para comer?

Time to Eat

We found a restaurant called Tierra de Fuego and when we entered, the atmosphere had a cozy vibe that was great for relaxing after walking on the beach.

But the highlight was the menu, which was hard to choose.

I don't know about you, but I'm going with the “Filete Tierra de Fuego”.

While we wait for the main course, let's devour these warm breads with butter and antipasti.

Yay, the filet has arrived!

The filet was very tender, covered with grilled goat cheese, accompanied by seasoned peppers, artichokes and potatoes. Everything was so well prepared that I didn't leave anything on my plate.

And to accompany this dish, there's nothing better than a good, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon to pair with this medium-rare steak.

After lunch, how about we move to the deck and order another glass of wine? We can chat and enjoy the moment without rushing.

Sunset

As the sun began to set, the sky turned into a painting of orange and gold tones that I hope I managed to capture in one of my many photos.

I'll leave you now with that sequence of sunset photos that I love to capture.

Once the bill was settled, we left the restaurant to enjoy the beach a little longer.

Watching the sun set over the Pacific was really cool and it was a moment to reflect and be thankful for another day, being very lucky to be among friends, and the privilege of living this moment with the sound of the waves to end the day at the beach with the city lights coming on.

As the sun began to set, the sky became a painting of orange, blue and gold tones that I hope I managed to capture well.

After an incredible day at the beach, it was time to say goodbye to Valparaíso.

Now, con el estómago lleno y el corazón alegre, we hit the road back to Santiago.

Depois de um breve passeio pelo centro de Santiago do Chile, chegou a hora de mudar o cenário e partir para a praia! Quem me conhece sabe que eu gosto de explorar novas cidades, mas o que realmente me deixa animado é descobrir novas praias.

Então, se você também curte aquela brisa do mar e passar um dia na praia, Aperte os cintos!

Deixamos o agito do centro chileno para e "partiu praia!!"

Depois de um rolê rápido de carro passando pelas ruas de Valparaíso, que se mostrou uma cidade cheia de charme, finalmente avistamos a praia.

Muito bom ver o mar, e dessa vez, o Mar do Pacífico, já que lá no Brasil estamos sempre estamos vendo o Atlântico.

Nossa primeira missão: achar um lugar para estacionar e encontrar um bom lugar.

O mais legal foi chegar na praia, olhar em volta e dar de cara com placas de alerta de tsunami! E se rolar mesmo? Corre pra onde? ??

Como gosto de foto de placas diferentes, registrei essas duas para incluir em minha coleção.

Enfim achamos um spot bem legal na Playa del deporte, próximo de alguns equipamentos para praticar esportes, um pequeno anfiteatro e a ciclofaixa e local para correr pela orla.

Vamos explorar um pouco da orla, fazer aquela caminhada matinal, enquanto as "Gaviotas" pescam. E o sol brilhando lá em cima que parece até que está calor, mas dia estava frio. Mas até que agradável, nada de muito frio.

Nada melhor que praticar esportes de frente para o mar, certo?

Em geral, achei a praia muito bonita com ótima estrutura para estacionar, andar e praticar esportes. nota 10!

Mas aí, depois de tanto andar, bateu aquela fome. ¿Buscamos un lugar para comer?

Hora de Comer

Encontramos um restaurante chamado Tierra de Fuego e quando entramos, o ambiente com uma vibe aconchegante muito bom para relaxar depois de caminhar na praia.

Mas o destaque mesmo foi para o menu, que foi difícil escolher.

Não sei você, mas eu vou de “Filete Tierra de Fuego”.

Enquanto aguardamos o prato principal, vamos devorar esses pães quentinhos com manteiga e antepastos.

Oba, o filé chegou!

O filé estava muito macio, coberto com queijo de cabra grelhado, acompanhado por pimentões temperados, alcachofras e batatas. Tudo tão bem preparado que não deixei nada no prato.

E para acompanhar esse prato, nada melhor do que um bom Cabernet Sauvignon bem encorpado para harmonizar com esse bife ao ponto.

Depois desse almoço, que tal mudarmos para o deck, e pedir mais um vinho? Aproveitando para jogar conversa fora e curtindo o momento sem pressa.

Sunset

Quando começou o por do sol, o céu foi se tornando uma pintura de tons laranja e dourado que espero ter conseguido capturar em alguma de minhas varias fotos.

Vou deixar agora vocês com aquela sequencia de fotos do por do sol que adoro registrar.

Conta fechada, deixamos o restaurante para curtir um pouco mais da praia.

Ver o sol se pôr no Pacífico foi bem legal e aquele momento de refletir e agradecer por mais um dia, com muita sorte de estar entre amigos, e o privilégio de viver esse momento com o som das ondas para fechar o dia de praia com as luzes da cidade ascendendo.

Quando começou o por do sol, o céu foi se tornando uma pintura de tons laranja, azul e dourado que espero ter conseguido capturar bem.

Depois de um dia incrível na praia, chegou a hora de nos despedir desse Valparaíso.

Agora, con el estómago lleno y el corazón alegre, pegamos a estrada de volta a Santiago.
