In this post, I will tell another chapter of the trip to Floripa. Let's change beaches and stay at one of my favorite beaches, Praia do Campeche.

We checked out at the Hotel in Canasvieiras and drove to Praia do Campeche, which is a beach located further south of the island, with stronger waves and deserted. It is less popular than the more popular beaches in the north of the island.

This beach faces the open sea, which makes it a beach with a greater incidence of waves and great for practicing sports. With very soft sand, walking through the sand can become an arduous task. The largest in extension in the south of the Island and has an area for the preservation of dunes and vegetation.

It is close to Joaquina Beach, another very famous beach in Floripa, known for its sand dunes, where people like to go down with snowboards, often sitting, which gives it the popular name of skibunda (skiass).

We stayed at Pousada do Capitão, a charming and very cozy inn, with a full breakfast and well located just a few meters from the beach.

After settling in the room, we went out for a walk around the neighborhood called Novo Campeche. Since the last time I was there, I noticed that the neighborhood has grown a lot, becoming one of the most expensive m² on the island, with large houses and modern apartments.

The next day, we decided to spend the day at the beach. As there were no kiosks or restaurants there, we stopped by a market to buy some drinks and snacks.

The way to the beach was along a small trail through the vegetation, nothing too complicated.

The wind was very strong, and I saw some people further north doing kite surfing, and I decided to walk there while my friend sunbathed, which was also strong.

Show Time

After a good shower and a brief rest at the inn, we received invitations to watch a show at Hard Rock, this time the other Hard Rock. Yes, Florianópolis has 2, the one located in one of the shopping malls and the one located on the mainland and called "Hard Rock Live".

The show was by Chico Cesar + Geraldo Azevedo, two singers and composers who have major successful works in their portfolio. For those who like MPB and don't know it, it's worth listening to.

They played their biggest hits and new songs they composed during the covid pandemic. An unforgettable night, full of music and fun.

Olá viajeros!

Nesse post vou contar mais um capitulo da viagem de Floripa. Vamos mudar de praia e se hospedar em uma das minhas praias favoritas, a Praia do Campeche.

Fizemos o checkout no Hotel em Canasvieiras e seguimos de carro até a Praia do Campeche, que é uma praia localizada mais para o sul da ilha, com ondas mais fortes e deserta. Menos frequentado do que as praias mais populares do norte da ilha.

Essa praia é voltada para o mar aberto, o que faz dela uma praia com maior incidência de ondas e ótima para pratica de esportes. Com areia bem fofa, caminhar pela areia pode se tornar uma tarefa ardua. A maior em extensão do sul da Ilha e tem uma área de preservação das dunas e vegetação.

Ela fica próxima a praia da Joaquina, uma outra praia bem famosa de Floripa, conhecida pelas suas Dunas de areia, onde as pessoas gostam de descer com pranchas estilo snowboard, muitas vezes sentados, o que faz levar o nome popular de skibunda (skiass).

Ficamos hospedados na Pousada do Capitão, uma pousada charmosa e bem aconchegante, com café da manhã completo e bem localizada a poucos metros da praia.

Depois de se estabelecer no quarto, saimos para dar uma volta pelo bairro chamado de Novo Campeche. Desde a ultima vez que estive por lá, percebi que o bairro cresceu muito, se tornando um dos m² mais caros da ilha, com grandes casas e apartamentos modernos.

Já no dia seguinte, decidimos passar o dia na praia. Como não tinha nenhum quiosque ou restaurantes por alí, passamos em um mercado para comprar alguns drinks e petiscos.

O caminho até a praia foi feito por uma pequena trilha entre a vegetação, nada muito complicado.

O vento estava bem forte, e avistei uma galera mais ao norte fazendo kite surf, e decidi caminhar até la enquanto minha amiga ficou tomando sol, que também estava forte.

Show Time

Depois de um bom banho e um breve descanso na pousada, ganhamos convites para assistir um show no Hard Rock, dessa vez o outro Hard Rock. Sim, Florianópolis possui 2, aquele localizado em um dos shopings e esse que fica no continente e recebe o nome de "Hard Rock Live".

O show era de Chico Cesar + Geraldo Azevedo, dois cantores e compositores que possuem grandes obras de sucesso em seu portfólio. Para quem gosta de MPB e não conhece, vale a pena escutar.

Eles tocaram seus maiores sucessos e novas músicas que compuseram durante a pandemia covid. Uma noite inesquecível, cheia de música e diversão.
