I came here by taking bus from Chandigarh to Gurgaon and then to Vrindavan, I was a long journey but as soon as i saw the temple and entered mathura, all my tiredness went away. Instantly I felt a connection, it felt like I'm a local from Vrindavan and I know the place by heart.
From the highway I took an auto rickshaw and came directly to Prem Mandir. It looked so beautiful and It was around 11:30 in the noon and arti at the mandir was about to start. I noticed that people at Vrindavan does not call you by name they say Radhe and start the conversation.
History Of Prem Mandir
The construction of temple started in January of year 2001 and completed in 2012. It took almost 12 years to build this beautiful temple. The marble use to make this temple is Italian Marble which is quite unique in itself. And the height of temple is 125 feet and its 190 feet long and 128 feet wide. The temple is dedicated to Radha Krishna and Sita Raam and it was establishedby Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
The English meaning of prem Mandir is 'Temple of love' and it unites people from different corners of world to celebrate the experience and celebrate the love, peace and devotion.
Entry To Prem Mandir
There were security gard at the main gate and different rows for man and woman. Well it was a long row and people were full of excitement to enter the temple and to explore around.
These are some of the pictures that I have taken after crossing the main gate. All you'll hear here is Radhe Radhe and it's so peaceful to heart and mind. These are really magical words and are so powerful. With love in heart and calmness in my mind I entered the temple.
There were different board on the boundary wall of temple to educate the visitors about the culture and the history of the temple. These board provides a quick insight about the temple and it's creation.
In front picture below you can see the floor which is made using Italian Marble which is quite unique in India and the work done on the floor is totally incredible and amazing.
Lots of tourists from different culture and religion were here to seek blessings and love from love Krishna and Radha Rani. It feels go great to see people uniting just for love and pure devotion. Even The old people are here, who can barely walk proper but have came Vrindavan to meet Radhe Krishna.
For a second I forgot I was in India, it looked so beautiful and the Italian Marble were totally adding to the beauty of this temple. The sky was clear and deep blue, sun was more bright and it was love all around. Totally an incredible experience.
Just like me there were people who are trying to capture this incredible Mandir in pictures so that they call remember it forever. I have taken all these pictures with my phone and i think they turned out incredible.
Incredible Prem Mandir
And then finally I reached near the Prem Mandir and the Mandir justify why it took 12 years to complete it. It was extremely beautiful.I was trying hard to see it properly but the light was reflecting through the marble making it hard to open eyes.
You guys can see the number of tourists here, as it's a major pilgrimage site, people from all over the world visit this place. Daily rituals are conducted here which includes aarti (twice a day) and satsang so that everyone can experience the devine love of lord Krishna and Radha Rani.
I'm really grateful that I got this chance to visit this incredible Mandir where your soul connects with the supreme power and you feel the love inside you.
