Let's Explore The Narrow Streets And The Ghats Of Vrindavan, Which Is Truly A Devine Experience

Today we will explore about the ghats of Vrindavan with which are deeply associated with Lord Krishna and his leela's. In Indian culture ghats are given prime importance as it's a place to offer prayers and to perform rituals and you may have no taste that in holy rewards everyone take a dip, which is believe to cut all your sins that you have done in past life or in present life. At the bank of Yamuna river in Vrindavan there are lots of hearts present such as Kesi Ghat Chira ghat Shyam Ghat and Madan Mohan Ghat and each one have their own importance and significance.

I reached here with the bike that I have rented and as soon as I reach here I saw a temple in front of me and the narrow streets of Vrindavan that I have only heard in stories and books. In the picture above you can see the streets and at every corner of the street there is a temple dedicated to different dieties and you will see people sitting along with it.

As lots of devotees visit this place so it's not always possible to take care of each and every Street and the street from where I pass I didn't find it that clean but no one was minding how dirty it was. Everyone there was taking the name of Lord and keep chanting the mantras. Even there were devotees who were touching their body to the ground and joining hand in the name of God.

Soon I saw this lady sitting alone in a Shiv Temple, praying and enjoying the view of the ghats. It's a place where you can chant, pray and enjoy the view all together.

After crossing the narrow streets of Vrindavan I reached to the ghats of Yamuna river where I saw lots of people roaming around and there were lots of boats. It's felt like I suddenly entered into an open area and as far as I can see there were only both people and the river.

In the picture above you can see people enjoying the view and the evening and also there was a saint chanting the name of Lord Krishna. At the ghats of Vrindavan you will find lots of such people who are chanting continuously without being conscious of the people around. They are so deeply in the meditation that they really about people around.

Near the Aarti Ghat I found this cute little cattle looking out of window and noticing every devotee passing through there. She wasn't afraid of people and she seeing very keen and interested in people going through there. I have never seen I cattle at such place and that to with so much calmness and joy. She was just enjoying on her own and loving whoever was passing by.

Here we came towards the architectural side of Vrindavan at the ghats where you will see huge open doors are you can say corridor that was built years ago and I still there standing strong than ever. The detail work was done on this corridor and it creates a perfect place or someone who loves photography or wants to do photoshoot. People were taking photos of each other at this place because the corridor was really interesting and the detailed work on it was catchy and attractive.

Soon I saw this to Shiv lingas a little away from the main path, no one was there but as a mentioned earlier you will see lots of temples Shiv lingas and things that are related to God in each and every corner of ghats of Vrindavan. They both were looking cute together and it was my first time saying to shivling Das together and a one place.

Soon I reached Ras rani Maha Aarti Ghat, where people were doing rituals along the bank of river and on one side aarti was going on. At this place you can do deepdan and can do arti for free.

In the picture above you can see a family doing rituals along the bank of river with faith and love. It is believed that doing rituals at the ghats of Vrindavan can remove all your sins and help you to grow spiritually.

At this Ghat you can join the Evening Aarti which is the highlight of the Yamuna river and you can also take a holiday to cleane yourself from the sins and take blessings. Voting is also one of the most famous activity to do at the Ghat of Vrindavan as it will provide you a unique respective and shows you all the temples near the Ghat.

Overall these ghats some how take you back to the time when Lord Krishna himself used to play at this place along with his friends. Visiting this place is a spiritual experience and also this has lot of cultural significance in India. At every Street of Vrindavan you will see devotees play in meditation or chanting and visitors from different corners of world to experience the Indian culture and to experience the love of Lord Krishna and Radha Rani.
