Hope y'all are doing great.
In my recent blog, I've shared information regarding the rich culture and heritage of my area, Jubal Himachal Pradesh and the inauguration off temple at Chaunri and Just in case if you missed the blog , here's a link for you.

So after taking the blessing from our Gudaru Devta Maharaj g , the priest started the havan, and there is a specific group of people called as Dhaki who play all the musical instruments related to maharaj g. No one else is allowed to play the instruments , accept them , and if you want , you should know how to do it properly and after taking the blessing and permission from maharaji , you can play it.

The picture above showed dhaki of our village and he is also wearing a pahadi cap the one with green color. You can see the drums he is playing and also the picture shows some children's with the instruments. These are the childrens of dhagi , and they are also allowed to play the instruments. Each and every maharaj of a specific village has their own dhaki or group of people who are specialized in playing Instruments and It is believed that they are blessed and also their generation is blessed by maharaji itself.

Also in the picture above , you can see some women sitting there and these are the women of dhakis and they are called Dhankni. These women's are believed to be the Fairies of heaven and a, they have a very significant role in each and very function related to devta maharaj. Most of The Times devata Maharaj is placed inside a tent or in open so that all the devotees can take blessings from him. And when he starts moving to another place, these fairies or Dhankni have to dance before Maharaji in the path where he will go. No one else can dance at their place, except their own future generation. And also these woman are beautiful like fairies, God have blessed them in certain ways.

So the heaven started right after taking the blessings of maharaji and with lots of instruments playing in the background by chanting the holy name of God, they started the havan, which lasted for around 1 hour. All the people of our village are everyone present there joined the hawan.

These pictures show it all, the hawan one conducted there, At the time, more than 500 people were present there and we all were busy doing the havan. It was a great feeling sitting in how one can purify your soul , and it also connects you to the higher power. All the negative thoughts in your mind or negative emotions suddenly calm down and you find a peace within yourself.

I love this feeling and it is recommended to everybody to sit in heaven whenever possible. Cause it's not just purify your soul, but it does connects you to the higher power, bless our future add clarify all the negative emotions.

And this is the picture I have taken after the haven got completed and here you can see Lord Shiva under red cloth. It's a very powerful idol of Lord Shiva a which has been placed inside the temple.

After the completion of our the priest went towards the and where Maharaj g was kept to do some rituals. After completion of the ritual we all went towards the time to take blessing and there is a red thread priest tie in right hand and chant so mantras, it's called mali. It is believed to protect you from all the negative energies around you.

After everyone took blessings , it was time for maharaji to came outside and his the picture , showing all the devotees and the villagers gathering around the tent and two of them carrying maharaji over their shoulders. Women are not allowed to carry Maharaj g and I really don't know any specific reason behid this. I have seen women offering flowers to maharaj g and they offer garland made up of flowers and notes.

So that's all for today's blog and in the upcoming blog, I'll share more about the inauguration, and it's going to be the final and the most important block so stay connected to know the rich culture and heritage in story of my village exclusively by me.
Hope you guys enjoyed reading.
May god bless all.
