I have been to Ibeno beach about 6 times.
First when I was about 11 years old. It was my School's Excursion to the Fresh Mangrove swamp in that Region. Ibeno Is about a Twenty Minutes drive from My hometown. It is a solely water filled region and even the soil throws fills like you are sinking. It was an agric class and we needed to go for a field trip to the freshwater and Mangrove swamp. It is located in my state(Akwa
Our first stop was at the swamp, where we went into a thick jungle kind of place with large trees that had their roots deeped in water and somewhat sandy soil. We studied the kind of vegetation around that place as well as the animals and our next stop was the Prominent Atlantic Ocean.
I grew up hearing that Ibeno beach is the famous Atlantic Ocean, maybe it is ,maybe it's just part of it. Well I can't really describe the water because enormous wouldn't quantify it with the eyes of a child. Well we got to the beach and the tour was solely guided by our tutors. Since we were kids and for some security reasons we weren't allowed to be near the ocean.
We just stayed at the beach area and viewed the water. I also went to the Atlantic Ocean to visit one of my uncles who happens to be a fisherman there. The reason I say the water is big is because I traveled close to the water bank, the shores for about two good hours to reach his destination, and because the water keeps expanding, looks like the water was following us 😂😂💔💔💔. I was asked to sleep over because of the long distance but I refused because the noise from the ocean didn't allow it.
Other visits to the beach were some regular hangouts on Sundays and other Festive seasons. My Best friend celebrated her Birthday at the beach and It was a small party thrown by her mother for her.
My last beach hangout was with some of my colleagues back in high school. It was organized by the President of my high school alumni group, just to gather all the sets from 2019 till date to have fun.
It was a cool chill evening hangout because who goes to the beach in the hot afternoon😂😂💔💔💔. Maybe it's possible for some countries but for where I come from, the weather is quite harsh and it will leave some burn on your body.
It was a beautiful and breezy evening. The tides kept on crawling and slapping back on the water body.
A lot of people were surfing on the beautiful tides, people were swimming, fishermen were sighted at a distance (looks like they were in the middle of the ocean). It was quite a lovely scene watching the indigene there parading the environs. The kids there jumped into the water like dolphins.
Well I grew hearing that water is only nice in the cup,😂😂💔💔 yes it is. I have a phobia for large water bodies as the sight of it looks like I will be engorged in it. It was quite beautiful watching people surf but no I wouldn't go close there
Aside from swimming and surfing, other activities like a barbecue, horse riding, volleyball and numerous games were ongoing.
The sands on the beach felt warm, the river bank is always beautiful during summer and dull during rainy day season and just because no one leaves the beach while the sun hasn't set. One other beautiful scene is watching the sun set .
Ibeno is a stunning destination for every tourist. Soak up the sun, take a lazy leisurely stroll, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Enjoy the lush vegetations and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean
