There are many foreign tourists when coming here often use motorbikes with automatic transmission, and this vehicle is not allowed to move further up the mountain. But don't worry, at the guard stations, there will be bus routes running at fixed times every day. You will be able to visit all the attractions of Son Tra peninsula by bus, if you do not know the way, the bus is the most expensive option for you. If you move to the top of Ban Co, you will have two different paths to reach the roof of Da Nang city. The first option is from Thuan Phuoc bridge down Yet Kieu street, then turn into the People's Army Barracks of Naval Region 3 and finally follow the trail and continue to go up to the top of the mountain. You will start from the Hoang Sa sea route, you can ask people how to go to Linh Ung pagoda on Son Tra peninsula, from there follow the Hoang Sa road and at the end of this road there will be a road on the left-hand side. , to lead you to the top of the Chess Board. Depending on your preferences and physical condition, you can move in different directions to reach the top of the mountain. After a distance of 10km from the foot of Son Tra mountain, through high slopes and dangerous bends, I also started to reach the top of Son Tra mountain in more than 60 minutes by motorbike. The way to the top of Ban Co is very beautiful and I stopped many places to take pictures. 100m from the top of the chessboard, there will be a fairly steep slope, up this high slope you can get a stone board with the words Ban Co peak, located on the right-hand side. I parked my motorbike at the bottom of Ban Co peak attraction, this area has a lot of monkeys. If you bring food and leave it on your motorbike, put food and water in your backpack if you don't want the monkeys to eat all your food. Next to the board showing the top of the Chessboard, there will be a set of stone steps. Going all the steps you will reach the top of Ban Co, the steps are quite steep and there will be houses for visitors to rest to continue climbing to the top.
