The Terracotta Soldiers (replicas made of the same clay as the original ones) of the emperor Qin Shi Huang exhibited at the Museum Complex in Arad
Hello travelers from all over the world
For a very long time I dream to go to China, I would like to discover the culture, customs and even the culinary art of this people, having this dream it is clear that I have several target objectives that I don't want to miss, the first of them is the Terracotta Army of the first emperor of China and the second objective would be the Great Wall of China (at least a few steps to do on it).
But until my dream comes true, I took advantage of a piece of information that I read the other day, namely that 45 terracotta soldiers, identical replicas of the originals, will be exhibited at the Museum Complex in Arad.
In the year 2024 will be 50 years since this terracotta army was discovered, I must say that this part of the museum is temporary, the exhibits were brought here in November this year and will remain in Arad until next year in April.
I was amazed that I found a parking place for my car just a few steps away from this museum, I must admit that finding the entrance to the museum was a bit complicated, I had to ask, although I live in Arad county I have never been here before, and now I have several reasons to be here, one of the reasons is the terracotta army and the second reason is another part of the Arad Museum Complex, and this part is amazing but I will write about it in another post.
The price of an entrance ticket was 10lei/2euro, visiting hours are from Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Monday) from 9:00 to 17:00, and photography here was free.
Let's go and discover the terracotta soldiers.
Through this door is the access to this part of the museum, which is also the reason why we found the entrance quite difficult.
The Terracotta Army of China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang (259 - 210 BC), part of the UNESCO World Heritage and unofficially dubbed the "Eighth Wonder of the World", was discovered by chance by local farmers in Lintong, outside Xi'an city in China, in 1974. 50 years after the great discovery, starting today, 45 life-size replicas of terracotta soldiers are on display at the Arad Museum Complex.
Replicas made of the same clay as the original Terracotta Army were brought to Arad from the Móra Ferenc Museum in Szeged, Hungary, and include a statue of a general, an officer and an archer from the Qin Dynasty, as well as a soldier leading two horses. But the largest part of the exhibition is a unit of armored infantry soldiers.
There's a lot of information about this terracotta army and here in the museum you can find it all, and I'm glad that when I visited the museum there were already many children here, the history of the Chinese people is of interest to many people.
My dear visitors after almost an hour spent here we have reached the end of today's post, I'm glad you have been with me up to this point and see you with the next post also from here in Arad Museum Complex.
THE END!
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.

One of my friends used to live in China for 4 years. She told me that China has a rich history and culture and is one of the prominent countries in Asia when it comes to history, culture, food, and language. I would love to visit Yunnan province and Kunming capital someday... These terracotta soldiers are so fascinating and they are still in good shape...What a discovery... I am sure you had a great time learning about Chinese history. I am only familiar with Chinese cuisine and products...😁
Have a nice week...
Honestly, I was really impressed by those terracotta soldiers even if they are replicas, and yes, visiting the terracotta army and the tomb of the first emperor of China would be an amazing experience for me, China is on my list of countries I would like to go to, but I still have to wait, China is not an easy country to visit.
Thank you very much for visiting and have a wonderful week, too.

How cool @triplug. Since I had seen the army in Indiana Jones I wanted to see them as well! I didn´t know they are traveling in exhibitions - that is awesome to know! China would be an amazing country to visit... but politics is holding me back tbh.
Indeed, China is not that easy to visit, but it is not impossible, with a good planning we can have an amazing experience through China.
China has been on my list for a while, but I'm still waiting.
Sure, for some reason I am still waiting also. - I am just not a fan of having everything planned already when going to a country. I like to be flexible in case I see something there that I didn´t know of... and be there with time.
I'm a person who likes to plan everything down to the smallest detail, the aim is to make my visit to a place as efficient as possible, but..., but every time something changes my plans, making my visit even more interesting.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Haha I understand @triplug. I can see that when reading your posts! And I love it. You put a lot of detail, time and effort in it!
I do like getting the most out of it as well. That´s why I love to get informed ahead and have a idea of the route. But often the best adventures have been spontaneous once, visiting places or hiking trails that only the locals know and that we just heard of by talking to them. For those kind of things I love to have a buffer always 😎☀️ - For me that makes it even more efficient 😜
You're right, my traveling friends admire me because I always do my homework when it comes to planning a vacation but on every vacation we add some extra time to enjoy something spontaneous, and honestly many of our spontaneous activities create the best memories.
That´s what I am talking about @triplug🐝🐝
