The Eiffel Tower in Paris, a romantic, mysterious adventure wrapped in sounds and thousands of lights
Hello travellers,
Although I often searched for one, I finally had to admit that there can be no cure for Paris. -** Paula McLain**
Can we just for a few seconds be happy?
I'm already on my third post from Paris and there will still be more spectacular posts from the city of endless love, initially I decided to leave the presentation of the Eiffel Tower last, because almost anywhere you wander around Paris you will see it and it will be the icing on the cake at the end of the trip in Paris, but eventually I changed my mind and said let's write about the most iconic place in Paris now to be exactly as I explored the city.
Here you can see how it all started and what we visited on the first day.
Day trip to the city of love, Paris
The amazing Gardens of Versailles Palace- the place where you can daydream
The Eiffel Tower can be easily reached by public transport, especially the metro which is the fastest means of transport in Paris (sometimes even faster than the uber or taxi), we were lucky enough to be taken to the tower by our friend where we slept, and yes the traffic in the center of Paris at certain hours is infernal especially near mega tourist attractions, we took some time to find a suitable parking place, be careful in Paris if you do not park on the special parking places you risk getting a fine or having your car taken away.
While we were driving around after the parking I took some pictures from the car, I was nervous when I was photographing the tower, so imposing, massive, romantic, I couldn't wait to get there.
Ready we left the car and headed for the tower, on the way to the tower various people started to appear selling all sorts of souvenirs (what souvenirs other than Eiffel towers of all sizes), the closer we got the more crowded it got.
The first time I wanted to go up the tower, but what to see, several hundred people were already waiting in line, from the start I said no, to go up it was necessary to stay and waste a lot of time, so I took a walk under the tower to see how it looked, without words.
At first glance it seems that the place is quite safe because I saw a lot of police on horseback and on foot (I also took some pictures of the French police, some extraordinary people).
From what I have read it seems that the material used in the construction of this tower was brought from Romania (the country where I live), the tower is made of steel and has a height of 324m it has been open to visitors since 1889, it can be visited all year round, I recommend visiting the tower in spring or summer days when there is no fog or wind, to have an amazing experience.
The Eiffel Tower is the most visited landmark in France and I think the whole world has heard or read about it, the tower appearing in various commercials, songs and many movies starring famous actors.
From what I've seen on levels one and two you can get there by following the signs on the stairs or by elevator and on level 3 you can only get there by elevator, my opinion is that it is worth queuing to go up to level three from there you have a view of the city.
That's it, we reached the crowded state and headed to a park located very close to the tower, if you want an unforgettable experience I give you a tip, take a blanket with you, a bottle of wine or lemonade and settle on the grass on a blanket and have a drink, it will be a unique sensation, we just took some great pictures.
The ideas for some unique pictures were made by the souvenir sellers, great people, I have to say that I gave them my mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy S21) to take pictures of us, but I trusted them not to run away with the phone, moreover after they took a few dozen pictures I wanted to give them a few euros for a coffee, nobody accepted money from me, they told me if I want to buy a souvenir is fine if not they don't mind.
The time in Paris passed very quickly and it became evening, this moment I have been waiting for a few years, because I really wanted to see the tower illuminated.
After waiting for about thirty minutes on some stairs, because we walked so much our feet hurt, suddenly the tower turns yellow and millions of white lights start to glow, so we are speechless.
I don't know if I've piqued your interest in visiting Paris, but I think it's worth it.
P.S.All the pictures attached here are taken by me with my mobile phone, and what you read here is written by me.
My dear travelers, followers and visitors of my today post, I hope you enjoyed visiting the Eiffel Tower, I thank you for stopping by, thank you to all of you who support me, and until the next post which I don't know where and when it will be, I say goodbye.
