It happens to me when I visit certain sites that photography is forbidden.

Nope. It was off limit and you can't take pictures or video inside. They are pretty strict about it as well.

Yes, the rules must be respected, I know places where photography is forbidden, I don't know exactly why they have forbidden photography or filming, possibly to protect the objects inside (here I mean those with a high value), or not to degrade from camera flash, is still an enigma to me..

Yeah, I went to several places where it's like that. There are also places where it's okay to take picture with mobile phone but no professional camera.

Yes, this is a general rule, and here in Romania at many tourist attractions we can see many signs where photographing with flash is forbidden, maybe such decisions are justified, I don't know.
