Visiting a well-designed, neat, and well-maintained park is sometimes on my list when visiting a new place or city. Like a well-designed park that I met in the southern part of Semarang, called Taman Indonesia Kaya. Of course I was interested. Why, because even in Grand Indonesia West Mall, Jakarta, there is a performance venue called Galeri Indonesia Kaya. Judging from the installation, this is a unified theme with different venues.

Similarly, a stage that is opened in a public place, accessible to anyone and can be used for anything as long as it is positive. When I visited, I saw several groups of students practising for dance. They were so positively energised and excited. I love seeing active and creative teenagers.

On this stage, TAMAN INDONESIA KAYA is written in their iconic font.

Aside from the stage, the surrounding park was well cared for, with many educational things such as: the pandawa lima statue. The Pandawa Five are important characters in the Mahabarata story, said to be incarnations of gods who have their own stories. Pandawa Lima consists of: Yudhistira, Bima, Arjuna, Nakula, and Sadewa. In addition, on the right side there are spectator benches in the form of stands, while on the left side, in front of the stage there is a large area that can accommodate many spectators.

In addition, the walking track is very clean. There is a statue of the INDONESIA KAYA icon in the form of a young couple dancing. This is a great symbol with the philosophy that the stage is where everyone can express their creativity.

In addition, if you walk around you will see many children's drawings from the drawing competition displayed nicely and scattered throughout the park. I deliberately slowed down in this area because I wanted to enjoy one drawing after another.

The drawings with the theme of love for the Indonesian nation were poolos, beautiful, meaningful and colourful. Typical of elementary school children's drawings that hold so much love.

In addition, this park is provided with seating, as well as trash bins that add to the maximum facilities in this park. They are open twenty-four hours. Usually, the later the night, the more crowded it gets, because the place is that comfortable and clean. There are no strange odours that make you feel uncomfortable. Over all, this is a great place to visit for families who want to relax while enjoying the greenery around them.

The gate is directly shaped with murals typical of Indonesian culture, such as: Ondel-Ondel, wayang, eagle bird, and some regional animals.
