The process of celebrating new year - #2 The last day of my lunar year

in Worldmappin3 years ago

Hello everyone.
Welcome to my post 😄
How are you today? These days in some Asian countries are the time when people are completing year-end work to prepare for the most important event of the year: Lunar New Year.
Today is a very special day because it is the last day before we enter a new year with more wonderful things. I really had a busy but happy day at the end of the year.

I had a city tour in the morning. If possible, please come to my hometown - a mountainous area of Ha Tinh province. You will surely be warmly received and not want to leave.
Tet market is always bustling, crowded with happy laughter. Everyone's face was radiant because today was a market that no one thought of paying the price. They go to the market not only to buy goods but also they want to give each other the most loving feelings for an upcoming new year. The market on the last day of the year is a bit rushed, busy but it seems that people's hearts are slowing down in the moment of changing seasons of a year.

Colorful Tet market space. Each stall is carefully decorated and arranged so that it is easy for buyers to see. Tet market has all kinds of goods, nothing is missing, just like a big supermarket in the city. Prominent on the way to the market is a flower stall showing off its vibrant colors. Pink peach branches, shy in the morning mist, as if waiting for the sun to come to unfurl her delicate petals. Pots of lilies, marigolds, carnations, gladiolus... also exude beautiful colors and passionate aromas. Flower buyers also carefully choose for themselves the most beautiful flower branches to bring home for Tet, like bringing the warmth of spring home to their families. Food shops, bustling with laughter, people ask each other about dishes on New Year's Day, mothers and sisters carry heavy items, but they are still worried that they will not buy enough. The atmosphere of Tet is closer to my countryside.

A few years ago, children like me, followed their mother to the market just to see people buying and selling goods or to have her buy a new item. But all of our faces were sparkling, and we were absorbed in looking at trucks carrying peach blossoms, smashing and sometimes coaxing Mom to buy some candy, which we never did. However, at the year-end market, my mother spoiled me easily.

The market is hot from morning to morning, but buyers and sellers have not yet dissolved. Buyers are still in a hurry, on the hands of the returnees are heavy goods. The burdens of Tet markets seem to bring the spring atmosphere to the countryside.

I returned home in joy, happy. Tet markets seem to pull closer together. They buy and sell not only goods but also send affection and best wishes for a happy and prosperous new year.
