Hon Do - Mother Nature's masterpiece

After stressful and tiring working days, the weekend is the time when everyone looks forward to relaxing and enjoying their own space with the saying "Saturday blood flows to the heart". I know that, but if you don't have a plan or know what to do on the weekend, it's a waste, isn't it?
If you are tired of amusement parks, crowded tourist areas, then follow me. Today I will introduce to you a place where you can return to the wildness and majesty of nature. A place where you can both camp in the forest with a view of the sea and whispering waves. It's Hon Do - A masterpiece of Mother Nature.
Snorkeling and watching coral are always memorable experiences for those who love sea travel. But coming to Hon Do, you will have a whole new experience with coral - watching fossil corals on land.

Hon Do is a fossil coral population in the territory of My Hiep village, Thanh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province, about 17 km from the center of Phan Rang - Thap Cham city, on the famous coastal route of Vietnam, with places that surely backpackers know.

Road to Hon Do Island
Running along the coastal road from Phan Rang city, it took us nearly 30 minutes to reach this place. Meeting with Thanh Hai Commune People's Committee, we ran another 4km to reach Hon Do. Since there are people in our group who have been here many times, the process of going on the road is very easy. However, if you are a tourist, ask the locals for details.
We had to walk a further part of the forest path until we reached the picnic beach. We really had a great time here. If you come here to travel, not traveling by car will be very difficult because you have to go through the forest. Better be like us - travel by motorbike

The right time to explore Hon Do
Except for stormy days, all times of the year are suitable to explore Hon Do - Ninh Thuan. However, depending on the amount of time you have and the purpose of the trip, you can choose the time to visit the island.
If you go in one day, you can visit Hon Do in the early morning or afternoon to catch the sunrise and sunset. Because this is one of the spots with the most beautiful sunrise and sunset in Ninh Thuan. If you have a large amount of time, you can come here in the afternoon to watch the sunset, then camp overnight, catch the sunrise and swim here.

Unfortunately, we have too little time and can only have 1 camping session in a short time. plus it was quite sunny and the weather was not favorable so we were only able to take a few pictures before going back home at 5 o'clock. However, if you can come here at a more suitable time you will see get all the beauty of the forest and sea here.
Picnic
For those who have enough time, you should enjoy your time at Hon Do with picnic activities. If you want to camp overnight, Hon Do Ninh Thuan is an ideal place.

And so, when setting up camp here, you should pay attention to cleaning up before leaving. When setting up camp, you should choose a location suitable for weather conditions and in combination with your other purposes.
