I shared the link, but it didn't show up on the page. I even deleted the post and reposted it, but the link still didn't appear.

Not a problem. Probably, a good move. I think your old Reddit had maybe some restrictions on Reddit for some reason. But be careful - Reddit loves banning new Reddit accounts.
