I have a passion for content related to Buddhism. And today’s post is about the Buddhism pagoda. I hope you like it.

I happened to find this pagoda when I had gone astray. What a memorable experience.

Although Nam Son pagoda is located in a small residential area, it is too large. I was surprised when I visited the pagoda for the first time. It was like entering another world. The atmosphere here is airy and peaceful. It gives me a comfortable and pleasant feeling.

The pagoda has a unique architectural style of the old Central Region. It includes many separate areas such as the Main Hall, Set Free Lake, Vong Nguyet Temple, etc.

The first thing that struck me was building some areas of Nam Son Pagoda on a small lake. This design makes the pagoda very special and eye-catching.
Unlike other pagodas in Da Nang, most of them have the architecture in the Chinese style. Nam Son Pagoda imbues with Vietnamese national identity.

If you have ever been to Hue and visited the Imperial City of Hue, you will find buildings of Nam Son pagoda that look like the royal palace of this Imperial city. The architecture here is gorgeous and has a distinct and unforgettable beauty. The buildings have brown walls and tiled roofs in 2 layers. Columns are simple with red color. Only columns in the Main Hall are carved with images of golden clouds. This detail makes the Main Hall so magnificent. In front of this building, two meticulously sculpted oriental dragon statues that look very eye-catching. And inside the Main Hall is the space to worship Shakyamuni Buddha. You can pray, but taking photographs is not allowed here. Although the pagoda was built in 1962, I was surprised that the exterior and interior look like a royal palace in the feudal period.

The areas of Nam Son Pagoda are linked together by small bridges. From the parking lot, if you pass through the bridge on the left, you will come to the temple of Guanyin. Here you can resort to sortilege. And it is believed that these hexagrams can accurately predict the future.

If you go straight ahead and turn left, you will come to the Set Free Lake. They released a lot of fishes and turtles into the lake. You can feed them vegetarian foods such as breadcrumbs or vegetables.

You can choose the bridge on the right to go. This bridge will take you to Vong Nguyet Temple. Vong Nguyet means watching the moon. True to its name, this temple is located in a spacious position and has an open view. Visitors can easily see the moon and its reflection on the lake.

Another thing that makes me feel comfortable is hygiene. There are many cleaning staff and gardeners, and they work continuously day and night. Therefore the bridges and buildings are always kept clean.

They put a lot of tables and chairs scattered inside the pagoda gardens. I like them and I can spend hours reading a book and enjoying the fresh and peaceful atmosphere.

I heard about Nam Son pagoda when I still lived in Danang, but never visited it.
