Prashar lake | Hidden paradise in Himachal | The Mountain Sheep

Hello hivers I hope you all are doing fine and I am doing fine as well. Last weekend Me and my Girlfriend planned to visit this beautiful place prasher lake. One of my old school friend also joined us. This lake is 49 km from Mandi town and situated at the elevation of 2730 meters. So we started journey from Chandigarh and it took almost 6 hour to reach the place. Road is good so you will not have any kind of disturbance you will easily reach the place.

Story of Prasher :- So The Prashar lake is named after the Sage Prasher who did meditation here for a long time. Raja Ban Sen from Mandi in honor of Sage Prasher. There is one more story about this place that after the Mahabharat Pandavas coming back to mountains with Lord Kamrunag and he liked the place very much and decided to stay here forever so thats why Bheem hit by his elbow on the mountain and made a dent which become a lake afterward.

Experience :- It was wonderful experience in Prasher lake we ate siddu while we were on the way and we stayed in camps and also had little beer and also joined the bonfire and ate good dinner with a group of people who came here by trekking but we took our car to the camping place. We also watch galaxy in the night. In morning we visited the temple and clicked some photographs and also explore places around and we had a chill time.
