We boarded a ferry from Marina South Pier to this small island called Kusu means "Tortoise" or "Turtle" in Chinese. It is close by the main island of Singapore. Just about 5.6 kilometres. It is close enough to spend a day visiting to relax and unwind.

Things to do on the Island

  1. Visiting the temple

  2. Picnics

  3. Swimming

What's more in there are turtles, of course. But also you can't miss the wishing well somewhere in the middle of the island. To add, there are 152 steps to the temple shrine. Devotees pray for wealth, harmony , good health and good marriage.

Now before you book your ticket for the ferry to get you there, do not forget to bring a swim suit and of course, foods and drinks. But remember to dispose the rubbish in a trash can or perhaps bring it with you. Just do not litter around. Pictures are allowed so take as much as you like.
