Hello everyone, my Hive friends. Today's post will be about Worldmappin. This will be my first time sharing a Worldmappin post on my Hive blog. I've created posts on various topics before, and they were a lot of fun. Let's get started.
Our Location: Bozcaada, Çanakkale, Turkey When we first arrive on Bozcaada, we encounter its historic streets. Some painters have painted mermaids on the walls, and visitors take photos in front of them. The house architecture is comprised of old structures. All of them were built in the style of Greek houses. They have been restored and renovated since ancient times. However, there has never been any demolition or addition. Because it is a historical site, it is forbidden to disturb it. The streets are not very wide, and most of the houses on the island serve as guesthouses, hotels, and restaurants. Visitor numbers generally increase in the summer months. However, during the cold winter months, it becomes a deserted island.
MADAMKETİ
Here's a wonderful place I came across, one with a vast history and an iconic appearance. MADAMKETİ, as its name suggests, is the home of Madamketi, a Greek woman who used to serve as a restaurant. It's been restored over the years and now operates as a different type of business. The historical objects, stones, and figures inside the restaurant are reminiscent of the old times. Currently, it serves meat, fish, meze, and pasta. Upon entering, you'll first experience a glimpse into ancient history. Then, a delicious dinner will brighten your day.
