We have similar thoughts on being ready to adopt a composting toilet, I gotta tell you lol. Those birdhouses are a fabulous little addition to the ecosystem, I love them. I too love the spectacle of a living roof, it's a fab way of using up dead space and adding some natural flora too.

This area looks like it has embraced the eco friendly message wholeheartedly and practiced what it preaches. This post and the lovely pics got me in the mood to get outdoors now we are finally out of the last lockdown in the UK.
