On the Napittachara trail...

“Jobs fill your pockets, adventures fill your soul.” – Jaime Lyn Beatty

I have traveled a lot, most of them tours without any planning. In fact, nothing has ever been planned for me, especially when it comes to tours. So I made a quick plan to go for a walk, and immediately left. I suddenly decided to go for a walk, but where!!! That's when the idea of barbering came to my mind and it was college vacation, it was a perfect time, so I planned it as I thought.

Life is a name of regret, everyone is restless in this world of not being found. Life has to turn second by second keeping your brain at the core. No one can stop him in time.

There were 5 of us and we left Dhaka at noon on the 25th. We reached Kamalapur railway station shortly after 7 in the evening. At around 9:30, I bought a mail train ticket going to Chittagong till Feni, the fare was only 90 taka. Bought the ticket and had dinner and boarded the train around 10 o'clock.

(One mistake we made was that we bought the ticket and went to eat but after buying the ticket you board the train immediately otherwise you won't get a seat because it's a local train. It was very difficult to get a seat. So get on the train first and grab the seat and then have the food. The train will leave. exactly at 10:30 a.m.)

We reached Feni before 6 am. Come by auto from Feni Junction, Mohipal fare is Tk 15 per person. I got down from Mohipal and had breakfast. After breakfast, I boarded the local bus bound for Chittagong to Bartakia, the fare is Tk 50 per person. We reached Bartakia within an hour, told the bus supervisor to drop Bartakia. I am not familiar with this road. I have traveled a lot on this road, visited many travel spots on this road, but because I came to this road after a long time, I could not recognize many things.

You have to get down to Bartakia and go to Napittachara trail.....

Laguna is available from Bartakia towards Chittagong. Go to Nayduari Bazar by Laguna and charge Tk 10 per person. Nayduari is the next stop at Bartakia. You can get down to Naidowari and have lunch. A guide will fix 200 to 300 taka. After walking some distance, you will find the waterfall. After walking for a few hours along the waterfall, you will find the Napittachhara waterfall. You will find 3 fountains on this trail. A wonderful trail that hides beauty at every turn.

The walk started, we still didn't see anything hilly, walking through plains, we kept talking about different things among ourselves. All of them lead a practical lifestyle.

The obsession with green always keeps the mind fresh, we all started walking. I continued to share the experiences of different tours with each other. After a long walk, Jhiripath started. Various insects began to sing, which gave me the greatest pleasure. I feel the touch of the wind on my body, walking through the water, the pieces of pebbles are sometimes getting into my shoes. I walk very fast which many people find annoying, but I can't stop myself from doing anything else.

Napittachara Jharna or trail?? Napittachara is basically a trail consisting of three springs.

Kupikatakum, Mithachari and Bandarkum or Bandarichra are these three springs. And the trail leading to the springs is called Napittachara Trail.

After walking for 30/40 minutes we came across the first spring called Kupikatakum, a small spring. If it rains, its youth becomes youth. The front part of Kupikatakum spring is quite deep,

none of us got down here because there are two more springs in front of them to soak the body. Here we took pictures and left for the second waterfall.

I don't like fountains, I like mountains. However, after 20 minutes of walking, we came across the second waterfall. Its name is Mithachari Jharna, we had to climb straight up from the plain to come to this Jharna. Mithachari Jharna has been rejuvenated by the beautiful light rain, the water of the spring is divided into two parts before coming straight down from the top. Which is very beautiful and entertaining.

We all went down there and cut satar, the fountain thing is not in everyone's mind, everyone's needs and tastes are different, it is a gift from Allah.

Taste of nature....
Taste of nature....

We spent a lot of time in Mithachari. We all took group pictures and single pictures.

The most interesting thing is that all the people I went with here are lively people.

They are more eager to know, they want to move from country to country.

This time the destination is Bandarkum Jharna, which is the last Jharna of the Napittachara trail. We are all walking the path. Various questions are floating in my imaginary world. The beauty of Jhiripath is more beautiful than the waterfall. After walking for about 40 minutes we reached our last destination, Bandarkum Jharna. It looks quite beautiful with light rain falling directly from above.

When we went to these springs, there were no tourists. After going to Bandarakum, we met a group of young people. After we have been here for a long time, it is time to return to this destination.

I came back the same way I went, took the bag I left from the shop, ate food. Then it was time to return to the brick town. So I took a little rest and made my way back.

Seeing that, I came to the main road in the same way, got on the bus going to Mohipal and got off at Mohipal. Had dinner and left for Dhaka.

(If you can start trekking to Khaiyachhara by 8 AM and limit yourself to the 2nd step of Khaiyachhara Jharna then you can visit these three spots in one day)

A few words:

  1. Do not make the bag heavy

  2. Do not throw any kind of garbage, water bottles in the canal

  3. Take necessary medicines with you.

  4. must buy bambo stick

  5. Please don't rush and walk slowly.

  6. Don't be afraid to ask the person next to you to give up. Take salt with it.

  7. Keep food and water with you

  8. Wear light clothes, sandals with good grip (sandals will not work)
