Hello Everyone,
It was a fine bright sunny day today, unlike everyday we were supposed to stay back in the school ground after morning assembly until then we came to know that our school was organising a NSS camp for volunteers who are interested in social work so without thinking much I quickly gave my name for it.

After a while we came know that we were going to the Pine Forest nearby which was in danger due to deforestation.

We took a small trail and made our way to pine forest with our trees and tools.

Almost each on of ius had around two sappling of pine trees.

We were thoroughly educated about planting the saplings and a campaign of planting trees was started.

We planted these saplings wherever we would find spaces for them.

The Himalayas what it use to be back since was not what it looked liked today.

I personally think that everyone should make this environment a better place to live only the human beings are the most dangerous ones to this planet.

Just imagine guys how much time would it require to plant about hundred trees by a single individual… a lot of time right and guess that how much time we required for planting these plants.

We took various tools with us and started to dig the heavenly land of ours where we live.

Just look at this guys how the team spirit is been shown in this picture. How a guy standing at the bottom most part of the mountain passing the saplings to the middle one and the middle one passing to the next one and the next one passing it to the one who was digging the land.

The main objective of this campaign was to restore the True Himalayas which were back since few years back.

After few years these plants will surely make this forest green again. We were around 43 volunteers in number and almost each one of us planted two plants.

So if we’ll calculate it by just by multiplying the numbers just see guys that we almost planted a lot of trees. For covering us a forest. That’s the biggest advantage of teamwork.
