Hello, my dearest friends!

It is with great pleasure that I share with you these photos I have always taken when I was in Tuscany, always during my trips, where I had already shared some pictures I took in the Arezzo area. So this excursion can also be combined with the previous ones, because this area has truly interesting villages to discover, and they are not to be missed.

So today, I take you with me to the hamlet of the municipality of Bucine, always in the province of Arezzo, called Monte Benichi. I don't know why, but this name is a bit particular, but I think it refers to the fact that it is located on this hill.
The first impact you have is with the numerous olive groves in this area of Tuscany, because this wonderful region, in addition to being famous for wine, is also famous for olive oil.

It is said that the origin of this place dates back to the Lombard period, because some artifacts have been found here that testify to the presence of this ancient people, although there is actually no real museum, because most of the artifacts, as far as I understand, have been taken to the paleontological museum of Montevarchi.
As soon as you arrive in this place, the first thing you notice is the Castelletto and the castle, two rather distinct things, but in reality, they are almost located in the same spot.

The castle, built around the 16th century by the captain of the mercenary army Goro, who was a hero in several battles for the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, is today a private residence and is practically not open for interior visits, but can only be admired from the outside. Walking around this castle, you can take some beautiful photos, just as I managed to do.
On the other hand, the Castelletto has become, over the years, a historic residence offering apartments for stays. This Castelletto was built at the beginning of the 20th century by the painter Salvadore Malesci in a gothic style, as was fashionable during that period.

And now, as I was telling you, this Castelletto has been transformed into a high-quality accommodation structure. Anyway, these two are the most important monuments of this small village.

Walking through the streets of this village, I noticed that the accommodation is in excellent condition. In fact, the part I liked most was the square in front of the Castelletto, while the castle, as a historical residence, seems not very well maintained.
Naturally, there are many cats on the streets of the village, and as soon as they see me, they follow me because they probably smell my cat.

I must say, in the end, it was a beautiful exploration, a very intimate, very cozy place. In fact, as you could see from the photos, it consists of very few houses, but this makes the place even more beautiful and magical. By the way, if you want to update yourself, there are already accommodation structures ready to welcome you.

I hope the photos I shared were interesting. Sending you all a big kiss and wishing everyone a great day!

Wow, the castle built in the 16th century is still very sturdy and looks very beautiful, a beautiful place to visit.

although there are not many houses in this place, its beauty can still be enjoyed, it is truly extraordinary, have a nice day ♥️

I love Tuscany. My family is from the North, but I always wanted to live there. And I stranded in Belgium 😂

Ecco vicino ad Arezzo non ci bazzico mai ma anche qui devono esserci dei bellissimi posti ❤️
