Sangava Beach is deserted and has a stunning view with giant stones in the sand. With fluffy sands and a calm and clear sea, the beach is about 90 meters long. It can be reached by a trail from Góes Beach, or by sea.
Sangava Beach
The beach is on the edge of Guarujá (in the state of São Paulo), but access from Santos, the city where I was, is also easy. From Santos, you must go to the Ponta da Praia pier and take a taxi boat that crosses the channel to Góes Beach.
Góes Beach
When you arrive at Goés Beach, which is where the boat stops, you have to walk for about 40 minutes (depending on your physical condition). I would classify the difficulty as moderate. And some stretches require more effort than others.
But the treasures I found along the way made all the effort worthwhile, like seeing a pineapple being born in the wild.
In addition, in the middle of the trail there is a belvedere, from where it is possible to see the entire Santos waterfront.
After the walk, all you have to do is get to the beach and enjoy. As the access is by trail or boat, the beach is not very crowded, which is great since it is not extensive either. There were some groups camping there and also some people in their boats.
And this was my favorite place on Sangava Beach:
Can't wait to go back.
