Yup absolutely. We went up to Bryce and Zion afterwards on that trip also. All absolutely amazing but at the Grand Canyon when we first arrived it blew my mind. I remember staring at a plateau in the distance and thinking the vegetation on it was grass or something and then My brain processed that it was trees and the sheer mind boggling scale of it came into focus. You don't get those 'whoaaaa' moments in life too often.
