Camping by the most beautiful artificial lake in South - Vietnam

Hi everybody. I'm so busy right now that I can't write many blog. My friend @trangbaby said she wanted me to tell more stories with pictures. Today I will take you to visit a man-made lake. Dau Tieng Lake - the largest irrigation lake in the South of Vietnam. Most of the area belongs to Tay Ninh province. The lake is like jade in the middle of dry land where the sun burns people's skin.

Although Dau Tieng Lake has been put into tourism operation, it is still quite wild (Dau Tieng Lake tourist area is currently closed for repair) until recently discovered by young people and became a hot camping spot every weekend.

Although most of it belongs to Tay Ninh province, to see Dau Tieng lake with the best location, you have to go to the lakeside in Dinh Thanh commune, Dau Tieng district, Binh Duong, about 80km west of Ho Chi Minh City.
You can go here by bus from Mien Dong bus station or by motorbike along QL22 or QL13.

The right time to travel to Dau Tieng Lake is from January to June, the dry weather is suitable for picnics.

The fresh air by the lake also partly dispels the heat in the South.

At the end of the year, there are many storms because it is an irrigation lake to store water to regulate the Saigon River, so alluvial grounds that can be camped will be submerged in water, so people also limit tourism.

In front is a vast lake, in the distance is Ba Mountain, behind is the green forest of Nui Cau ecological area, all creating a beautiful and harmonious picture.

In addition to enjoying the natural scenery, young people also participate in fun activities such as boating and soup on the quiet lake.

At night, those who choose to stay overnight, light up the barbecue, enjoy the bbq party, and sip some wine, confiding in each other in a peaceful atmosphere.

To camp in Dau Tieng Lake, you need to prepare a tent, cooking utensils, you can bring or buy them at Dau Tieng market, about 5km from the lake...

Should prepare clothes to change, sunscreen jacket, raincoat in case of bad weather, insect repellent... ID papers because at night there will be local functional forces to check security.
Besides Dau Tieng Lake, there are Thai Son Pagoda, Cau mountain, Truc stream, and the rubber forests in the fall season, which are destinations not to be missed waiting for you to discover.

If you are tired of crowded tourist areas or are simply tired of living together in the city, spend a day escaping the city's smoke and dust and return to a land that is far away, but close, but familiar yet strangely rustic. peaceful.
