London for the first time

Hi there, you might want to be inspired... ✨

On Friday I went by train to London. The train was late, so I was a little confused, but a nice man, who was sitting on the train, told me that the trains adjust to the delay. That was a good sign. Around eleven o'clock I arrived at the St. Pancras. There was no rain, the pleasant sun encouraged me to go for a walk. I had only three things planned for this weekend: walking, reading and dancing.

After a good hour of walking with short stops and taking pictures, I ate my wrap under the London Eye and watched people laugh at the street actor. A street singer added sound to the street performance just a few meters away. I went ahead and took a pictures of Big Ben, thinking to myself about the Big Bang - the expansion of the universe. Something scientists are predicting seems to me more and more obviously related to the expansion of the soul or consciousness of humanity. Maybe the big bang means the final separation of darkness from light, which is predicted for us. Surely science in matter cannot be far behind spiritual science. What does that even mean?

At seven o'clock we started with contact improvisation. It's a dance where you follow. Energy guides and you let it go. Is this energy bursting? No, it just expands to the point where you're no longer a dancer instead of a dance. This is the most beautiful thing.

"Today is my first day in London and I am without accommodation. If I can stay in one of your places, I will be very happy," I said to the group, before we started. In the end, five people offered their sofa, I decided on Joanna, because she was the first and definitely the right one. We had a great evening and the following morning. So much in common. Joanna is a website developer. We found an interest in exchange! She wants voice therapy and I want a humble website. We are already in the process.

On a walk in Victoria Park in Hackney, we saw green parrots. It was magical. They always remind me of the times of Lord Rama from Indian mythology. Rumor has it that Jimi Hendrix had parrots like this and released them, or they even escaped and are now all over London. But apparently not only in London, but also in other European cities. A deep connection inspired me to go greet the deities at the ISKCON temple. They were just at the prasadan, so I was happy about the good food.

Then I tried to find the Fuckoffice bar where I drank sexepresso the previous afternoon, but I couldn't find it. I found a Vintage bar among the countless second hand shops. When I started thinking about where to sleep, I texted Nick to see if his overnight offer from yesterday was still valid today and he said I'm welcome.

I entered a lovely apartment where David and Alan live besides Nick. They spent Saturday evening with a glass of wine. They gave me tea. “I thought you don't drink alcohol,” Nick said. Does it really show on the outside?

David presented his experiences from the Meditation Theater, which inspired me. Weekend workshop at the Shambhala Buddhist Meditation Center. "Wow, can I go with you tomorrow?" I asked him. We quickly realized that this was completely doable.

The next morning, David prepared a lovely breakfast and we were already on the subway and entered a pleasant building, with pleasant, completely empty people. I'm caricaturing. On the contrary – they were quite alive and they all seemed to me to be there for the soul. The altar was simple and I spent a few moments meeting the Buddha.

We started with meditation and then we devoted the next six hours to play, fun and above all concentration and empathy. We put on masks and a sad deaf old man entered me, and no one could catch his attention except the crazy dance of a bulging-eyed fool. It inspired me. I knew most of the exercises from my school of street theater and drama school, where we studied according to Stanislavski. Alex and Peter, the teachers, also shared the same knowledge. Why am I here again?, I asked myself, is it time to go back to the theater?

Then came the penultimate task. The sculptor David had to make a statue out of my body and ask this personality questions. I was high. I danced in an elegant, gentle breeze in petrified marble. Everything was perfect. After a lot of questions, I came to the conclusion that I no longer needed role-playing and not just me, the whole world could take off the mask.
Tired, I threw myself on the sofa after the whole day and listened to David's plateau. The ex-Buddhist monk has beautiful lyrics, you can listen to him on Spotify https://linktr.ee/DavidJohnMorris Big heart, in the service of people. We found a lot in common. I noticed that we even have a similar style of dressing. We fell into conversations about working with people suffering from serious illnesses and all kinds of deep topics. We also played music!

On Monday morning I said goodbye and hugged Buganvilass, a beauty glowing on the sunny morning street, to say goodbye to Hackney. When I got on the train, the same man was sitting there. He too was returning to Thetford. We were surprised. I asked him if he have children. He showed me pictures - believe it or not, I've never met a more outgoing daddy.

This was my first time London. I walked a lot, I danced a lot, I also read a lot, but not books.

Life is good.
