Hello Everyone,
Hope you all are doing well and I wish you all best of health since the talk is about health so many people will agree with me that going for trekking in really a energy booster especially when you are busy with you work in city life.
Churdhar Trek is one of the best Trek in my life till date which consists of 21 km from Nohradhar. My friend Jitender my cousin Akhil and Rahul decided to go this wonderful Trek to meet Lord Shiva .
CHURDHAR is situated sirmaur which is my home district where my hometown Nahan is the Tehsil so complete distance is about 94 km adding 21km of the Trek to that.Other name of the Trek is Churi Chandni Dhar. The peak can be seen from the Different districts as well.
Firstly we took a bus from the Nahan to Dadaahu from where have to change our change for Nohradhar where we had a stay for the night so we could have our journey started the next morning. The time it took to reach Nohradhar was about 5 hours in the bus as the roads are single lane that is why it is busy so it takes time.
The next morning we took our breakfast and started the Trek from Nohradhar at 6 o'clock in the morning so that we could reach the top on time. Thus chanting Lord Shiva's name.
At the start the Trek seemed easy and fun we were excited and having fun all the time and many people met in the Trek who were returning back after their Trek.
Everywhere you will see Greenery of nature which is so important for us and which is main essence of this Trek. Really how the things has gone the peace which you get staying away from the crowd makes me feel I don't want to go from here,I found many animals and birds during the Trek which is nice to see all are part of the lord Shiva's legacy .
The more you go out trying to find yourself more you get to know about yourself ,you will find the better version of yourself this is because you will a fresh start to something with better positive mindset this is very important to know that we think.we should always priorities ourselves. This journey thought many things to me about the culture and the struggles.the people face here but has no regrets because they all have faith on Lord Shiva.
I had never seen this big rock ever and the journey became even more harder when you reach closer to the temple which is situated on th top summit. Now at this point of time my legs told me that you cannot move forward but it is impossible to stop here at this point as the temperature starts to decrease in the evening so we knew we have keep moving with little breaks in the path.
In the morning time around 11.55am we reached the first stage of the journey which looked very beautiful where we found horses and donkeys who are responsible that we could get the food and shelter and all the people who can't walk properly cannot go this journey without these animals as a animal lover I feel sad for them but also thankful to them otherwise we were not able to get some of the important suppers which are required.
The view from every point is extraordinary the little bit cloudy Ash just makes every view beautiful from the far point it looks like white clouds has come down.
After reaching second leg we were very tired and almost covered 15km of Trek but still left with 6km to reach the temple we had faith I us that if we reached till here so there is no point of stopping and getting chillies in the night ,We had option to stay in the sheds take rest for the night and go the next day in the morning but we decided against it just went on with the journey.
In the evening we reached the temple around 5.30pm we worshipped in the temple and was very tired but journey was not over yet we reached just the temple.
This temple is known as the Srigul Maharaj temple. The main statue of Lord Shiva is at the top peak which is still 3 km from here.
So we took rest overnight and after covering 21km and body ache we still had the faith to reach the top where the statue of Lord Shiva is established here.
With those hard rocks the journey was tough and our destination looks beautiful with all the hard work we put in reach here.
Through hive I would like grab this opportunity to tell you this place is in my state and its an absolute privilege to be part of a journey which I could share with the world.
Hope this could help you when you people want to visit this place in india. You guys could have a glimpse of the place and the wonderful nature around will also amaze you.
The tall trees and vegetation won't let you away from this amazing place which is very beautiful and mesmerizing.
You will never feel that you will out of water you will find running water channels though out your journey. This was wonderful to watch but the water was very cold as if the it is taken out the freezer.
Huge rocks really feels like art there were staircase to reach the top my cousin and jitender could not resist to go to up on it but me and Rahul decided we will stay down only.
After we reached the worshipped the lord Shiva where we did allt he rituals I met some old friends as well.
It was very breezy out there in the of may which is hot month in india it was very cold since you are such an high altitude the temperature is cooler.
While coming down now it was again a 21km Trek but this time it gets easier as the Trekking downslope is easier and we could have the fun of the things also we missed since we had to reach the early before the dark but that is not the case this time so took great look of the aroma with the green heaven land.
Churdhar Trek is a amazing chapter of my life and will try another time I could come here with my family as well as now Churdhar Trek can b completed with the road as well a new pathway is to be built which.
Not only this Churdhar Trek creates a lively hood for so many locals here that is what Lord Shiva wants for his children.
So this is my time here I hope you will enjoy reading my blog I will definitely bring more fresh content on give which could be beneficial to all hive members.
