A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.”― Josh Billings
Hello Beautiful People!
How's your weekend? Hope everyone is fine!
Do you also have a pet? What is its name?
Last Wednesday, my dog, Shadow accompanied me here in the countryside. Shadow is a 3-year-old dog and it was actually his 2nd time being here. Living in the city, Shadow always stays inside the house and rarely goes outside. Since his here in the countryside, we wanted to walk with him.
Walking in the countryside has been our favorite exercise so far. Aside from the health benefits, it can also free our minds from worries and fears. By just looking at the view, it diverts negative energy into a positive one. What's more remarkable is that we enjoyed the view with our dog.
First, we went to the mountain peak just a few steps away from our grandma's house. The view from here is wonderful. I could say that the dog loves this serene place that is really different from his everyday life inside the house. We sometimes have our picnics with our family and friends here.
While walking, we saw this beautiful house. I already showed this house in our Hive post before. This is Casa Martina, a beautiful 3-storey house that you can book for family gatherings, reunions, or any group and family occasions. This is located just a few minutes away from our house.
We continued our walk and saw more pine trees on the side of the road. From here, we saw flowers bloom beautifully. Aside from the view, the weather was also cool and relaxing. It was a good walk with Shadow because it's been a while since the last time he visited the countryside. The first time, he came here he enjoyed swimming in the river.
From here, we stopped for a while and just enjoyed the beauty of nature. Breathe in and out. Enjoy and appreciate every little thing on earth.
Eventually, we went back home before the rain comes. It was a nice day for us and I enjoyed walking with my dog in the countryside. Dogs are emotional beings just like humans too. As for us, we consider our dogs as members of our family. We should love and care for them.
“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
