Hello Beautiful People!
Camping is a way to unwind from a very busy day, especially when we want to go to places and don't have so much money in our pockets. I have been camping with my family on top of the mountain in our countryside on the weekends lately. However, I want to try camping on the beach for the first time. So I asked my friend Lanie to accompany me.
The night before our trip, we searched for a place where we can camp, and luckily my friend found a perfect place for us. We then agreed to be in the North of Cebu.
CAMPING IN THE NORTH
Today I am going to show you our camping site that is located in San Remigio Cebu Philippines. San Remigio is known for its beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. It is also held the record of having the longest shoreline in Cebu which is occupied by private and public beaches that you can explore.
Before heading to the bus terminal, my friend and I bought some cup noodles, bread, and coffee at the grocery store. Then, we rode a jeepney to the North Bus Terminal. From there, we took a bus going to San Remigio Proper and took a motorcycle ride toward Orongan Beach Resort.
WELCOME TO ORONGAN BEACH
Orongan Beach is located in Barangay Anapag, San Remigio. It became famous for people who love camping by the sea with friends and family.
When we arrived, we paid the entrance fee of 50 pesos and camping for 100 pesos per tent. After paying, we set up our camping tent, put our bag and tour around the beach. Luckily, there were only a few people when we visited the place.
LET'S EXPLORE THE LONGEST BEACH
Done setting up our tent so we headed to the beach. I was amazed by the beauty of Orongan. The water was so clear and calm. We saw some seashells and corals on the seashore. When I was young, I used to collect shells and decorate it at home. I missed the old times.
This place here was held in the record as the longest shoreline in Cebu.
This white beach here connects to other beach resorts. We walked to their long white beach and explored many places.
BACK TO ORONGAN BEACH RESORT
After exploring the longest beach, we went back to our resort. We took some photographs of ourselves at the swing area. There are a lot of coconut trees that were painted with colorful art. Swings are tied into them as well. We were having a good time.
The sun is setting off and it's time to eat our dinner. We ate the food that we bought in the grocery store before going here. If you don't have food, you can buy it at the resort's restaurant at an affordable price.
After eating, we decided to swim and talk about our life lately. It was a memorable time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. My friend Lanie has been my good friend for many years and being with her is always so much fun.
BOGO CHURCH
The next morning, we woke up early and rode a motorcycle and a bus then stopped at Bogo Church. We prayed and thanked God for the opportunity to take a break and enjoy our time together away from the busy life of working.

How do local people get to North Cebu? I just saw vlog and it looks like getting around Cebu is quite a nightmare. Do you use those bus without AC or is there better alternatives to get around?
Hello @macchiata .I prefer riding a Bus with AC if I am with friends and family. If you travel the North of Cebu choose a bus with AC so it would more comfortable for you. You can also rent a van to tour you around. This is preferable if you are with groups.
Is van tour more expensive than the bus? What would be the rate for foreigner compared to local? could it go beyond 2000 Peso?
Van is more expensive than the bus if it's exclusive. It would go beyond 2000 similar to the locals . Better ride a bus with AC it doesn't cost you so much.
