Last month, we visited the island of Camotes, amazed again by the range of activities that tourists can do on the island. What attracted me the most is the public beach and the food that they serve here. This place is called Santiago White Beach.

WELCOME TO SANTIAGO

Santiago White Beach is a famous public beach on the island of Camotes which is under the municipality of San Francisco. The place is clean because it is well maintained by the local government of Camotes. Aside from the vast white sand, this beach also has restaurants that serve sumptuous Filipino cuisine.

Rex and I together with our friends arrived here early in the morning to have our breakfast. We were a bit hungry from the 2-hour boat ride from Danao Port to Camotes Port. Finally, we went to Pito's Sutokil and ordered plates of seafood and other Filipino food. While waiting for our order to be served, we went around and took photos of the place.

BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF SANTIAGO BEACH

RESTAURANTS

There are variety of restaurants along the beach of Santiago. You'll see tables arranged on the beach side so definitely, you'll love the food and the view of the place while eating. One of my favorite restaurants here is the Pito's sutokil. They serve delectable food that you can enjoy.

After about 15 minutes, we had our food served. I highly recommend this place as they serve good food at an affordable price.

Finally, we were full and ready to tour around the other tourists spots on the island.

NIGHT TIME

Every weekend, there are live bands and other performers that can entertain you for sure. You can also sing at their karaoke area and pay 5 pesos for 2 songs.

We were lucky that on that day, there were some performers. I love the choice of music and the vibe of the singer who sang my favorite Filipino reggae songs. After the live band, the fire dancers performed an excellent show. We were in awe because we captured some of the best performance of the Camotes Fire Dancers.
