Hello Beautiful People!
Let me share on hive our unplanned yet amazing experience at one of the best glamping and camping sites here in Cebu, Philippines.
Last Sunday, Rex and I decided to spend a quiet and peaceful afternoon at Balamban Cebu. We were so excited to visit a place where we can unwind and refresh before the long week of working.
We traveled for 15-20 minutes from my hometown to Gaas Balamban. Our main destination was Florentino's Little Tagaytay but when we arrived, the place was closed so we were a bit sad since we were already there. What we did was we searched on FB for the best spots to visit in Balamban and we came across Sugbo.ph's post on FB. Upon checking, I have visited most of the places listed there but one place caught my attention and it was Evo Nature Camp. Looking at the pictures, I was excited and amazed so Rex and I rode our scooter and navigated google maps so we could locate the place right away.
After about 5 minutes of driving, we arrived and parked our scooter. The place was serene. Even though it was a sunny Sunday, a few people were present. Maybe because of the road closure at Ayala Heights trans-central Highway. The road there is open to motorcycles but close to cars and trucks due to several typhoons that entered Cebu and some parts of the Philippines which resulted in severe damage to the road.
EVO NATURE CAMP: YOUR ADVENTURE STARTS HERE
Evo nature camp is an outdoor recreation venue with beautiful views of the mountain and the flower garden. Located in the famous Gaas Balamban Cebu, its majestic location is perfect for people who love nature camping.
EVO Nature Camp Cafe houses Araucaria Bistro and Cafe which serves sumptuous international cuisine daily. Its cafe is located at the highest part of the place which will definitely make your breakfast, lunch, and dinner one of a kind.
EVO NATURE CAMP AMENITIES
FLOWER GARDENS
I always love flowers and I have visited several flower gardens here in Cebu. I could say that Evo nature camp's garden is one of the best. The landscape and how the plants are being planted are well-planned.
GLAMPING
What's best here is their glamping experience. There are two types: the Glamping Deluxe and the Glamping standard. Glamping Deluxe is with aircon which is good for 4 pax and will cost you 4,000 pesos on weekdays and 5,000 on weekends and holidays. This includes free breakfast and toiletries. Another 1,000 pesos will be added per additional pax with an extra bed and breakfast.
On the other hand, glamping standard non-aircon is 2,500 pesos on weekdays and 3,000 pesos on weekends and holidays. This is also good for 4 but breakfast and toiletries are not included. You will pay 500 pesos for additional pax with an extra bed.
CAMPING GROUND
If glamping is a bit pricey for you then go camping. They have a camping ground located at the lowest part of the place. Restrooms and bathrooms are easily accessible which is just in front of the camping ground. They also have a bonfire area for the campers.
Rest Rooms
PLAYGROUND
Their playground is both good for kids and adults. Rex and I tried playing at their playground and we were having a great time. The Kubo right beside the playground is a place where you can rest and watch over your kids while they're playing.
TREKKING
Trekking is also good here especially if you are with friends who love hiking. You will have to pay 2,500 pesos (5 pax) for a guide and safety equipment. The hiking trails will lead you to the waterfalls, a cave, and a peak called Ground zero which is believed to be Cebu's geographic center.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
HORSEBACK RIDING
You can also experience horseback riding for 500 pesos which is for 30 minutes and 250 for the succeeding 30 minutes.
KARAOKE
Are you a singer or a frustrated one? Karaoke place is good for you. At 250 pesos per hour, you can sing your favorite songs.
I hope that my hive community likes the virtual tour at Evo Nature Camp and one day visit this relaxing place with your loved ones.
