A walk through the center of Baden-Baden

Hello everyone!

It's time for another post from Baden-Baden, a spa town in western Germany, where I walked around with my camera for a few days. Today we start our walk from Augustaplatz on the main street of Lichtentaler. At the southern part of the square there is a church that stands out from the distance with two tall towers. There is also a cove with a bus stop

Nadszedł czas na kolejny wpis z Baden-Baden, czyli miasteczku uzdrowiskowym w zachodnich Niemczech, po którym spacerowałem z aparatem przez kilka dni. Dziś zaczynamy spacer od placu Augustaplatz przy głównej ulicy Lichtentaler. Przy południowej części placu znajduje się kościół, który z daleka wyróżnia się dwiema wysokimi wieżami. Jest tam również zatoczka z przystankiem autobusowym.

Heading north-east and crossing the small river Oos, you will find yourself near the theater in Baden-Baden at Goetheplatz. There is a small shopping center and tourist information nearby.

Kierując się w kierunku północno-wschodnim i przejściu przez małą rzeczkę Oos, znajdziemy się w pobliżu teatru w Baden-Baden przy Goetheplatz. W pobliżu znajduje się małe centrum handlowe oraz Informacja turystyczna.

A few dozen meters further there is another square with a complex of Kurhaus buildings on Kaiserallee Street. The photo shows only part of the building, which includes a restaurant and a casino from the 19th century. This building is located on the southern side of another building presented in one of the previous entries - Trinkhalle.

Kilkadziesiąt metrów dalej jest kolejny plac z kompleksem budynków Kurhaus przy ulicy Kaiserallee. Na zdjęciu widoczna jest tylko część budynku, w którym znajduje się między innymi restauracja oraz kasyno z XIX wieku. Budynek ten znajduje się po południowej stronie innej budowli przedstawionej w jednym z poprzednich wpisów - Trinkhalle.

After crossing the Oos River again in a north-western direction along Sternstraße, you will reach this place on Lange Str. Here you will find a lot of clothing stores.

Po ponownym przejściu rzeczki Oos w kierunku północno-zachodnim ulicą Sternstraße dojdziemy do tego miejsca na ulicy Lange Str. Tutaj znajdziemy sporo sklepów odzieżowych.

At the end of the aforementioned street, on the corner, there is a rather old pharmacy.

Na końcu wspomnianej ulicy na rogu znajduje się dość stara apteka.

About 50 meters to the north-east is the small square Jesuitenplatz. Next to it, a building with a restaurant stands out with its colorful front elevation.

Jakieś 50 metrów w kierunku północno-wschodnim jest mały plac Jesuitenplatz. Przy nim wyróżniający się kolorową frontową elewacją budynek z restauracją.

From the Jesuitenplatz square, taking the stairs between the buildings, we will get to the Steinstraße street with hotels.

Z placu Jesuitenplatz idąc schodami pomiędzy budynkami dostaniemy się na ulicę Steinstraße z hotelami.

At this point, I had to wait to take visible photos, because every now and then a car passed by.

W tym miejscu musiałem poczekać na zrobienie widocznych zdjęć, ponieważ co chwilę przejeżdżało jakieś auto.

After going down the cobbled road visible in the previous shots, we will reach the place where there are more hotels and another restaurant.

Baden-Baden has a lot of old architecture, nice streets to walk around, a lot of squares, shops, restaurants and hotels. In addition, there are spa places, so every tourist should find something for themselves.

Po zejściu w dół brukowaną drogą widoczną na poprzednich ujęciach trafimy w to miejsce, gdzie znajdują się kolejne hotele i kolejna restauracja.

W Baden-Baden jest dużo starej architektury, fajnych uliczek do spacerowania, sporo placów, sklepów, restauracji oraz hoteli. Do tego są miejsca uzdrowiskowe, więc każdy turysta powinien znaleźć coś dla siebie.
