In this post, I will share my experience while exploring the mini zoo in Langsa city forest park. A few weeks ago, Aceh was hit by flash floods and I became curious about the condition of the mini zoo,to answer my curiosity, I decided to visit it in person. When I arrived there, I immediately felt a little relieved because this mini zoo was not affected by the flood, but it was still affected. According to the information I got from the officers there, until now, the number of visitors who come here is still very small, and some areas in this mini zoo have also been badly damaged.

The good news is that we are not charged anything to enter this mini zoo, from the main area I decided to approach the turtle enclosure first.

In some corners, the place looked very dirty, with trash piled up and many trees down (caused by strong winds). Some of the animal enclosures also looked dirtier and less than usual. There were more than 10 turtles in this enclosure, and they still looked very healthy.

My next goal was to approach the crocodile enclosure. From a distance, I already felt uneasy because a tree had fallen onto the crocodile enclosure, the staff even warned me to be careful. Fortunately, no crocodiles were killed by the falling tree, only the enclosure itself was damaged.I didn't stay there long, because there was a crocodile that was showing a very aggressive nature, the condition of the cage was also not very good so I didn't want to take any risks.

Not far from the crocodile enclosure, I immediately walked towards the deer enclosure, and this was a spotted deer, this deer has a very unique characteristic, namely it has black spots all over its body.

There were also some people selling vegetables to feed the deer such as long beans and carrots. I didn't want to miss this moment and at that time I also bought two bunches of carrots and after that I immediately fed the deer. This deer pen is very large but I don't know how many deer are in this pen, what is certain is that feeding them is a satisfaction in itself.

Two bunches of carrots didn't seem enough because next to the spotted deer pen there was also another deer pen, so I bought two more bunches of carrots to feed the other deer.

This is a stork, and this is the first time I have seen this bird in person, it turns out its size is quite large.According to the information I got, this bird likes to live in wet areas such as rice fields, swamps and rivers and this bird also likes to eat carrion. If seen from a close distance, its appearance looks very scary, even the size of its beak is quite large and long.

And this is a macaque, this animal at first glance looks very similar to a monkey in general, but in reality it is different, macaques have very short tails and also have a different way of eating.Once again, we should not be fooled by its appearance, its face may look so calm, but as soon as we bring our hands close, it will immediately become aggressive and may bite.

And this is a white cockatoo, what is unique is that this bird can talk and will welcome and greet any visitors who come to this place, this bird is also a favorite for children because this bird will greet and talk as best as it can to small children.

And this is a swallow or white-headed eagle, but unfortunately I didn't get any information about this bird so at that time I just looked at it, I also didn't linger there because this bird is very noisy and very aggressive towards humans.
Even though this is a mini zoo, there are quite a lot of wild animals in it, so this place is also an educational tourist destination that will provide valuable experiences at every step.

If I'm not mistaken, this bird is called the Moluccan Parrot. This bird looks very active, it likes to play, whistles when visitors come. This bird also has a very beautiful color, namely red and a little blue on its wings, and black on its tail. I am very happy to be able to see one of the most beautiful birds here.

What an attractive place! Even though I don't like seeing animals in captivity, it makes me want to visit! Thank you for letting us imagine we're right there with you, enjoying the nature it offers!

Always a pleasure. Have a great day!
Zoos are fascinating because you can find many animals you have never seen before and observe them more closely. How lucky that they were not affected by the flood. There is no zoo in my state, so I have to travel to another state to see some of the wild animals that live there.
You are absolutely right, even though this is a mini zoo, I am very satisfied and enjoy this moment.

Greetings @riyat, despite being a small zoo, it has several species. It's the first time I've seen the Moluccan Parrot; I love its red and blue plumage.
I also really like this bird, its color is very beautiful and what is more interesting is that this bird is very active in playing.
